79-1948 in this video was the very last KC-10 to ever fly; On 26 Sept 2024, 79-1948 flew the last ever flight of the KC-10 from Travis AFB, CA to Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ to be stored there. This final flight officially concluded the KC-10's 44 years of USAF service.

Now I love airplanes and military tech as much as the next guy. But what is it like having a foreign military essentially occupying your homeland? I don’t think I’d like it much. Although, it seems more countries on earth have a US military presence than those that do not. As an American taxpayer, I’d say we have many, many problems at home to deal with. And besides, the UK (not unlike us) just allows unlimited military aged men stream into the country unchecked, so the UK clearly isn’t worried about foreign invasion! It’s all just absurd

fantastic footage,i first went to Mildenhall Airfete in 1977 when the F-16 prototype debut & was in the static park,its still such an amazing fighter & still love going to Mildenhall & Lakenheath
