How did you removed the cylinder
or if they are out of stock use an M6/80 and noone will ever know
This is why American vehicles lose sales to foreign vehicles. Quality has dropped off a lot
Did you fix the issue with the igntion switching thinking the truck was on?
hiiii

Hi, ok if I feature it? Credited of course! Also, where did this happen and what happened after the accident?
I was there 🎉❤
How can I get it out of I los the key
How did you get the spring mechanism out of the old housing?
the bimini...😢
Luckily, it was just a zipper that opened up. We were able to zip it back again!
I feel dummer For Watching this
dont waste your time watching this guy skips a lot of parts he doesnt show how to remove the key cylinder or the steering wheel 2 key parts of the job watch the video to the link i provided. very good video. th-cam.com/video/JXkXuz1yuf8/w-d-xo.html
10/10 couldn't find another video that explained it thanks
I saw this show at Red Rocks and this was incredible…the closeout solo!!!
You're a gangster for this I couldn't figure out why the pin wouldn't recess
How did you remove the cylinder
Exactly never says how
Whats the black cable on the back of the housing connecting it to the shifter called???? Noone has mentioned it.
Dude not a vary good video when you do these your suposta go from the start of the job to the finish of it
how do I get to that step/the housing. ???. is there a lot to take off.
About 3 bolts for plastic covers that's it
didn't see nothing.
Amazzzzing guys 😉😉😉
You not hat take out the wheel to change the switch
How did you took off the key cylinder and the electronic switch
Leave the ign on till the light goes solid to relearn the key
Someone broke into my Colorado and busted that. Now I have to replace that
Yeah, That sucks. I hope my videos are helpful.
How you took off the black part on the new key cylinder?
I don't really remember, but I'm pretty sure it just came loose once I removed the screws. You may need to make sure that the key cylinder is in the correct position, though.
How did you took off the black part on the new key cylinder?
Not sure which part you mean. Are you talking about the electrical switch that's fastened with the 2 phillips head screws?
@@andrewbongiorno848 yes that part I took off the screws and it doesn't comes out
Really enjoyed this video thanks. We are looking to buy a First 40.7 - we live on the east coast of Australia. Have you any comments on ability to handle prolonged heavy weather - 30 knots plus offshore?. What sort of SOG were you getting on the wind during this race and does the hull ever actually plane in these conditions? Do you use an asymmetrical? Apologies for bothering you with questions.
I can't tell you much about the boat since I was just on board as crew for this race. I certainly had a lot of confidence in the boat's abilities.
Its called housing
0:46 coronaviruswin.com
as in electrical switch you mean ignition switch ?
Yes, I guess that would be more accurate. Thanks!
you need to program the ignition switch with the computer
Thanks Jose. It turned out that I just had a dead battery. Luckily, I didn't have to reprogram the switch. I bought it at the dealer, and I think they did it before I installed it.
Did you shoot this with a GoPro?
No, it's with a Contour with a headband strapped to my head.
HE COULD HAVE BEEN EATIN BY A BEAR OR HIPPIE!!!!
GO WITH THE FLOW CUZZZ...
Yes is faster old man...
What year is your truck?
It's 2009
@@andrewbongiorno848 I have a 2005 Colorado and when I take my key out my gear lights stay on sometimes. Would this help
@@josephgonzales219 It sounds like a similar issue to then one that I was experiencing. I would remove the tumbler first and see if that pin at the bottom of the cylinder is sticking. That is why I had to change mine.
@@andrewbongiorno848 that's what it was my friend thank you.
Hmmmm...you did know that you have to program the truck to relearn the new ignition switch, right?
It’s pretty simple on the older chevys :)
Hello Andrew, you never reposted so I don't know if you got it fixed or not. But take a look at this video. th-cam.com/video/_JIIc-pB0DE/w-d-xo.html . It is the H3 Hummer but the switches are the same, same part number and all. I have the 2006 Colorado. And thanks for taking time to make this video. Best wishes.
I like your video's of the replacement, you show the lock cylinder removed it the first video but didnt say how you removed it, can you help with this?
Dennis Ryan If I remember right, I had to use the key to turn the lock to the acceddory position and push a pin into a small hole in the housing to release the lock cylinder.
I just posted another video using the lock cylinder that I removed. I hope it helps.
thank you
