Did a lot of experimenting in this one! Tried out some rigging on 2s (for a FUTURE maple), made some of my own custom foley for some sound effects, just in general more experimental stuff. Was very fun and done over the course of 2 days.

approx date of making: 11/27/2023 I wanted to get consistent with animating, so I started this as a sort of "way" to get consistent, by doing at least 1 thing a day. And you can probably guess how that went based on the length of the animation. Also first of the (short lived) Taylor re-design. The staff was cool, but I just think the clothes don't hit as well as they did with the first.

approx date of making: 5/8/2023 Wanted to do something for when I used to grind the FUCK out of Maple, so an animation of my actual little maple guy (equipment and everything) fighting one of the main guys you are homies with (Tess) felt nice. Never finished it, but what's there was actually pretty clean. Also some experimentation with backgrounds.

I think this boss perfectly shows WHY having Ice Dagger is a super, super, SUPER big buff to our overall power. It not only lets us regenerate SP, allowing for much better damage per turn, but can also save us from mortal damage (given we have the Sword Energy stored). The next boss is a tricky one! Ice dagger is extremely useful and Slingshot + Rocket Launcher is good for every single boss except Bubonic Plant People may say using call gorilla is cheesy but I refuse to learn bigfoots vine spam and rage good progress

@ low key Im ass at this game so I'm sticking to using gorilla for the Plant Rush "the race begins now" is crazy (I'm ass at this game and motivation going down ever since cruel king lmao) but I hope to one day beat this If ur using no summons have fun on Bubonic Plant plant rush I was lazy doing griefer and Bigfoot with summons cuz I could've done them summon less but I can't do bubonic plant summonless I'm too bad and even with summons I'm still too bad But I wish you luck as long as someone does it

Good luck on cruel king scepter strike is annoying minimize on this challenge doesn't seem that helpful you should try using fireball (basically 5 damage for 2 sp)😊
i cant get fireball at this point in the game but perhaps later. ty for the GL (lowkey freeze way more annoying cuz the startup harder to predict)

@@anomaletix insane, Ive also been doing this challenge (without thorns) and I've gotten him down to 1-2 hp a total of 10 times... scepter strike is seriously going to cause me brain damage and has tripled my playtime on this file (bubonic must be great to fight) Wishing luck to both of us before I quit this boss well I finally did it

Well that was anticlimactic lmao. Is there any other way you know of to beat it other than with the bomb? I assume dynamite can kill it but you have to beat the bot to unlock it. Sword Toss can't get through it's armor without an additional damage buff which would require either an item or more card slots than you have access to under the challenge rules.

No way you're playing Block Tales now 😂 me and my friend got into it recently and took a couple of hours to beat the final boss of Chapter 1 (we both had Hard Mode on but none of the other difficulty changing cards, I didn't know how to get them until recently). Amazing coincidence.

THE MADMAN ACTUALLY DID IT. I'm scared about Firth tho lmao. Firth is a nightmare. Probably the fight with the second most deaths in my shell-less run after Topoda. My main tip is to just strafe him as much as possible because he's a lot smaller than the other bosses so getting around him is easier (and some of his attacks come out with very little warning).

Camtscha and Praya Dubia are easy lmao. Firth is the real final challenge. Camtscha is just a damage sponge, between his two phases he has more HP than any other boss aside from Firth. Honestly it's a bit unfortunate, thematically Camtscha might be my favorite boss in the game. He's so Dark Soulscore lmao. I hope NG+ tunes up some of the easier bosses.
