These guys are awesome, and I love video game music. However, some of these songs I’ve noticed could benefit from being mixed again

what does that mean?
The cover of it is from an album which has a different better version of the song so in fact he is falsely advertising this being fake
think you're mistaken friend. this is the version that's from the Entertainment system release. its fidelity might be a bit lesser but this is the same version from the original release. the picture for the video looks like a screen cap.
