Just watch the film ,how sad to think this really happened, those poor dear brave men and women .l was in tears watching it and am now ,l did not know it happened .Those dear ,dear lovely souls who suffered so much and how proud the Canadians are .l kept saying God Bless and God Love You All ,and Thankyou for giving your lives to save us . The song is so beautiful and sung with all heart and makes me cry ,l will never forget it and l will think of those poor men and add them to my prayers every night .RIP my darlings .l love you all .Paula .X .

I'm thinking of my Grandfather Joseph Farrell who fought for the British in WW1 at The Somme. A tough decision as the Irish were fighting for their freedom in 1916. I lived with him growing up, he never spoke of it RIP.🙏

I am 76 years old, I served 30 years in the submarine force. This was the most moving war movie I have ever seen. When the credits began, and Sarah Slean began singing After the War, I wept.

I cannot speak of God but of the COSMOS and spirit of humanity, this is wayyy up there. The idea, the writing and the voice, the voice and the grace. My Lord!
