FOR THE LOVE OF FOOTBALL | Short Film
O-XPC Network in association with Pitcher72 Films presents a Short Film titled "FOR THE LOVE OF FOOTBALL" by filmmaker, Sello Nahshon Khaoli.
This short narrative film, driven by an equally evocative and inspiring soundtrack explores the joys of young boys who live in a rural area overcoming limited means as they come together to play one of the most beloved sport in the world popularly know as either Football or Soccer, depending which side of the pond you live.
This short film is presented in a visually inverted manner to highlight the message of the narrative, which is also highlighted by the soundtrack titled "LIGHT" by the group OliKha Tribe.
The 'inverted reality effect' visually adopted by the filmmaker here presents the characters (boys playing soccer) seemingly glowing, becoming Lights in a subdued environment.
Another message of this short film is an outreach to those in charge of the sport to nurture, provide a platform, facilities and resources, and also groom Soccer or Football stars of the future.

the best❤
Magesh surely looks like Zuma 😂
Been on repeat 💥💥💥
Harari together with Osibisa from Nigeria were top Afrorock bands of the time. Missing the 1970s
Thanks for posting man, much appreciated 🙏
The reason that he is selftaught distinguished him from the rest
🎉🎉Whoah, great use of power chords. What a legend 👏 🙌 💙
A like for me every time magesh says "you know"😂😂 RIP to one of the Goats🙏🏾
Sad that Halloween was their only album proper, at their peak... Guz 2000 was a group and by trinity they wer kinda parting already... Home coming was too late..

Young Sarah Wilson Dorothy Johnson Daniel
Epic🙌
My favourite Kwaito group from 1997.
Bra Zwai Bala ✊.
TKzee the last generation of Kwaito
Magesh was the heartbeat of Tkzee he came up with the song concepts.
We need a longer version
Mahesh speaks fluent English. He would wear attires that would make you think he didn't go to school and is a thug.
1998 these guys were in their early 20s but they had already mastered their sound and knew exactly what they wnated to do
Yeah after Phalafala the stage was set
The pinnacle of the kwaito experience!!! Thank you TKZEE for your contribution. Thank you O-XPC for documenting this 🛐
It's amazing to learn thay sound of Sikelela was developed in such device.
The love I have for Joe Nina !
That 'hmmm!' and the face from kagiso @ 14:38 😢😅 Yhooo how is that lady composed when that bass line hit so deep. I would've lost it right there 😂😂😂 Best group ever to come out of Mzantsi.
You did well. Congrats on your contribution to South African history
RIP Magesh 😢😢😢😢😢
Their English was so on point. They definitely went to multi-racial schools right?🤣🤣🤣
Lol kwako cheese boy laba
When I was young my dream was to be Joe Nina. He’s an amazing artist.
This was a JAM. Still love the song even now.
Man this is gold!, thank you so much for this.
8:04 Wow This Song 🔥🔥🔥🔥
We want more please 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Still having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that "palafala" was sampled from "Janet Jackson - got til its gone"
That's cool asf!!
Too dope .the talent is just too much
❤❤❤❤❤
Ela Ntate
I never thought such material existed ❤🧐😭💪
I once argued with some clown on twitter who was saying "TKZee was Tokollo, the rest were just riding along". This video proves there would have been no TKZee without Zwai Bala..
There wouldn't be TKZEE without all of them, the name says it all Tokollo Kabelo and Zwai so trying to compare them won't work, they all complimented eachother.
@@Seedandcap You're correct. My comment is in relation to the comments I've seen on social media that seemed to suggest Tokollo was TKzee. I mentioned Zwai because a lot of people don't know he was the man behind the sound. Everyone knows about Magesh and Kabelo and what they brought to the group
To say Tokollo was tkzee, I wouldn't agree but in terms of lyrics, samples and ideas he was the main man even Kabelo Mabalane said it on podcast and chill go back and watch nigga was genius we cannot take tha away from him
@@SeedandcapI also thought Big Nuz was Mampincha😂
POWER 💪💪
The songs sound so slow now that we have gone through Durban Kwaito and Amapiano🤣. Classic though.
Another one 😊dj khaled copied the Magesh "Another One"
