hey man, i have an arrow slip on and i am planning to put a mid pipe, it will not remove the cat converter wich is a bit in the back, do you think i should flash it after? will it change the performance if i dont flash? will it be dangerous for the motor if i dont flash? thank you man

Does this also work for the license plate light?
doubtful. They are different electronics and will need different resistance. I left my license plate light plugged in and tucked it under the rear seat. You cant see it all from the outside of the bike. Otherwise I think if you remove it, you need the right resistor, or a gs911 module to turn off / ignore the warning. And Im not 100% sure the gs911 offers that. Also, race modes might have settings to disable brake lights, blinkers, license light. Good luck!

Hi just done mine follow the same procedure mine only took under 2 litres coolant as I did keep warming the bike up and let the air comes out …..

You got it tuned or just run it like that? because I did a M4 exhaust and wrapped the headers with heat wrap and installed these smog plates and deleted the cat and I’m wondering if I have to get a tune and flash right away or is it ok to run it for now how it is?
tune after cat delete. Youll be ok for a while but I would prioritize getting a tune once you remove cat. Air fuel ratio will be way off

Any straight through headers(no cat) will cause flames
You missed the 10mm drain bolt on cylinder 1 and really should run 3-4 cycles flushing with Distilled Water before filling with your choice of coolant. Then run motor with rad cap off to promote air trapped in the system to come to the top.
I did exactly that plus a cycle of 50/50 water and white vinegar

NGK CR9EIX are the iridiums I used. No problems
Anyone reading this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! Just get bolt ons and an ecu flash with a sprocket and chain change. I'm running 125whp 51 tourque. These PC's are a waste of money and they hurt your performance.
FYI an ECU flash is a mapping that likely isnt ideal for your bike and your riding conditions. Nonetheless I would absolutely agree with you that this is a waste of money and advise anyone looking for power to do what u said. Thanks for the comment and ride safe man

this is not the way to do it. never mix the 2. flush your old fluid then run distilled water thru the system a couple of times. then when the water is clear coming out then add engine ice and your good

How much louder is it with the link pipe? I have an arrow pro race and the pre muffler box but I want to change to a link pipe to make shock services easier. However I don’t want to annoy neighbors or be too loud when passing through areas like forest preservations, etc. Should I be concerned about that?
in the 19+ zx6r, maybe earlier years too, the pre muffler box doesnt have the cat in it so it really isnt much louder to replace the premuffler with a link pipe! As soon as you remove the stock headers with catless, youll be screamin

I was supprised to see it doesnt use the brake paddle spring. Do you think it works well without it?
There is a set screw that you can adjust to remove the free play from the brake paddle but I ended up finding a way to fix the spring onto it after the set screw vibrated away
@@gitaround5097 Thanks for the reply. I have the set laying around and was also thinking to modify it so the spring can be used. Now I know for shure. I think its very disappointing that you need to do this to an already very overpriced product.
@@gitaround5097 Not sure what happened. Thought you didn't install the nut to lock the screw in place, but looking through the video, it's there. Mine has been on mine for over 2 years and hasn't vibrated off. I suggest everyone that has these rearsets to ensure they have that nut cinched pretty tight against the brake lever/arm.
@@zx10rguyable I overlooked it for sure. I think I was screwing around with trying to fix the oem spring to the screw and didnt tq it properly or use loctite. Will def take your suggestion - need to be more thorough

I see you’ve previously installed the slip-on, and now installed the mid-pipe. I’ll be checking your other videos but just in case you haven’t and I didn’t see the video yet, are you planning on installing the headers? Or just keep the OEM headers on? Also did you get your bike ECU Flashed?
yea it has full system and ecu flash

@@gitaround5097 because the headers are stock even if they’re titanium it still is a 3/4 exhaust. Very close to a full system but it isn’t considered a full system!🤘🏽
