Nissan Maxima was far ahead of the Toyota Camry around this time and into the early 90s. A prime example of bad management, Nissan lost the lead and now the Maxima is discontinued while the Camry is the darling of the common driver!

Sunset year for the B-body Oldsmobile Delta 88. I personally really liked the 2-door versions. Large and in charge, like they say. Lots of presence.

These Town Cars regularly racked up north of 500,000 miles while doing severe duty limousine service, making them perhaps the most reliable cars ever made. The quality of materials used were also high. The 1998-2011 Town Car are ageing very well and looking very desirable with every passing year.

The first generation Eclipse looked good when it came out. It has aged well. Mint examples are very hard to find, today. The top of the line GSX is the preferred level to get, if you are in the market for one.

Kinda sad to see this 85 Delta Royale in the salvage yard. Still should be on the road. All mostly was there hadnt been scrapped yet. Body in fairly good shape both inside & out. 2-door to. Last Stop indeed.

I just managed to wrestle the battery out of my 2018 focus, but I needed help to pull up on the cowl at the windshield to provide clearance. Your method to release the front panel of the battery compartment was the help full trick that I missed. Thank you!

Probably was a parent or grand parent's car. Car was either in a garage or carport. Just a shame they didnt try to sell it. Like you said bet it still would run. A shame that fury ended up as a last stop in a savage yard!

Wouldnt be a surprize if the engine & trans were still in good running condition. Just a shame the driver side rear body panel wasnt fixed. Just a shame for that town car!

The car is long gone, and I don't have the VIN number anymore, but I have no doubt this was the real deal. It will be awfully hard to clone one.

Beautiful, the top is especially impressive- lots of expensive restorations have wrinkles, very difficult to get that on the unique scissor frame with even tension.
Amazing platform. I had a 95 DGGM SS. One of the BEST car’s I’ve ever had to honor to own. I wish I still had it. Although, I gave it to my older lifelong friend, and I’m sure I’ll re-acquire it after he passes, sadly. I will save it. Special machine. Also had a B body wagon, and I wish I would have never sent that along its way, also. It was a custom beast, and i miss it to this day.

FYI, that's a 351M in the car. Valve cover would say 351M/400. I'd love to have that 8 track player for mine. I have an all original 77 w/50,000 miles in my garage. Black w/red leather interior and full gauges. I'd like to get a few more of these so I can play around with a 6.9 diesel and 5 speed manual swap.
