@hard4thecore I did, unfortunately I sold them to a mate who still has them. He looks after them though, Dolphin and 3Dom had a little shop in north Wales called third planet records. I used to travel 120 miles to get the tunes then go back on the night to Steam were they was residents. Great memories 👌 I still buy his new albums to this day

@Cjmatthews87 Hi bud, There are a few ways of doing it these days. Most basic way is take a headphone jack from player of choice, either ¼ inch or 3.5mm to 3.5mm and straight to audio input of laptop, and use a free program called audacity. Plenty of resources on the Web for audacity mate. I have seen a tape deck that I do want if funds ever allow for me to do so that has built in usb.

@hard4thecore Despite being a massive Sharkey fan, I don't remember listening to the NRG 98 Sharkey tape. I never owned the pack, and my 3 mates who did weren't big on late 90s Freeform/Trancecore so it didn't get played a lot round theirs, and I can't think why I never borrowed it.... 🤣 I bet their Sharkey tapes have the same thing on the b side. The rave promoters of the 90s probably did a lot of organising whilst burning the candle at both ends, so to speak... mistakes would be made! 😂
Could only imagine what went on behind the scenes that we never get to see, Still massive respect to all that makes this scene happen.

Do you know how many copies of the Ratpack/Slam tape I came across that had fuck all on the Slam side....? I've only come across one with the music on it, that my mate nicked off of a smackhead 😂 I had 3 mates with this pack, and *none* of them had anything on the Slam side of this tape!
You've got me questioning if this is a legit slam tape now lol after reading that. 😅
@hard4thecore I've spoken to randoms at raves about it who also owned the pack, and they all said their vopies worked fine, and I've asked at the tapepack store at Slammin Vinyl once if they had a tape player to test it. They didn't, but assured me it would be fine.... I bought a different pack just in case 😂 Very few DJs would play breakbeat hardcore tracks at a big event like Skelter. The only tape I've ever heard Sunshine Productions' Above the Clouds (the first tune) is *this* tape. Niche audience for that. Always had been in my experience. Slam is one DJ who would, so I doubt you've anything to worry about 😃
