Edwards is one of my goto's for testing new aircraft. Haven't had a chance to try the A10 yet. But will after watching this!

My current favorite GA plane in FS20 is the Marwan Gharib Bonanza G36. I like the glass cockpit, but I also like simpler instrumentation for variety. Also, I did not like the turbocharged G36. Can you compare the G36 and the Super Viking?
Are you using the mod of the g36 from flightsim.to for the g36?
Great video. '24 has it's issues but the overall the flight physics and graphics are amazing!
Thanks,, Bryan. I really love the fact that the planes now "feel" like they are moving through and being affected by air in a more realistic fashion. That is MUCH better in my opinion. The scenery is just another level. That was also very well done. Over time, I think folks will appreciate the new product. Much good work done. Much also left to do. Cheers!
How does the area around the base look compared to MSFS 2024? I love doing training flights out of Edwards and flying north through the Panamint Valley in 2020 so I have been wondering how this area looks in the new sim.

@@b747man3 I just did a quick video of a flight from China Lake to Edwards in the A-10. Should give you a good idea of what to expect in the new sim as it relates to the scenery. Should be up in a couple of hours. Enjoy!
After recording this video, I finally got my rudder pedals to a realible, usable state after tweaking settings. The cost of dealing with a new sim config. Incremental progress is available to be had, eh? Cheers, everyone!
It’s pretty much 2020 with a new suit. Same bugs, same bs only now it loads from the cloud…eventually. A steaming pile IMHO
jury is out from my perspective. Time will tell, but the launch was , well.. I'll be polite.. Less Than...I'm definitely in the "not ready for release" camp. There are things I like and things I don't and I can say that about 2020 as well. I have an Xbox Live sub so I'm not out of pocket and am currently using the Standard version of 2024. I definitely understand the frustrations for those who ponied up cash. Thanks for sharing your perspective.
Too much hype, not enough infrastructure. I dont understand the stress testing approach. They had a swing and a miss on demand and capacity estimation for sure. I'll be making a series of follow up videos on the content that I intended to publish in the next 24 hours later this week. I guess I was lucky as far as the initial installation. Im going to guess that we are going to experience scale related problems for the short haul. Its always best to leave the current release in the wings. Cheers, ya'll
we are now being greeted with a took many users screen... more patience friends. My humble suggestion is to let this simmer for a few days and then come back. I thought Huddison did a great job of summing up where we are at the moment.... check out his video...
Reloading the sim after the initial start and getting back to the menu screen is being problematic. I have been stuck at 97 % for other an hour and others are reporting same on the Microsoft Flight sim site. Its day one folks... patience will win the day.
Weird timing considering the launch of 2024
well, based on the stellar launch we have experienced today, I anticipate MSFS 2020, like FSX, will have a nice shelf life. Also, many of these freeware aircraft may also work in 2024 as compatible content now, or as devs work out any edits. YMMV
BTW, this aircraft works nicely in 2024 as well. Cheers, everyone!

If this guy started working for mscenery or BeeKay, he may be able to help them get some credibility. But so far his freeware is way above their payware...

You can open the canopy. Plus you can fold the wings on the Navy version. The lever is tucked by the right of the pilot seat.

Some of the detailing in the cockpit is just stunningly well done. I think the external sound can be better and a few textures here and there, but its very cool. I'm wishing this dev the best of luck

Great flight and mod. Have you checked out the Reims Rocket mod. It has a 210 hp engine and flight model mod.

I love this plane. I would fly it more if it had an autopilot even though it’s great to hand fly.
I love this one as well. Its another "sleeper" in my opinion. Perhaps it will be more known to the community with folks purchasing the aviator edition. The autopilot add-in would be a nice touch for those who like the option. I tend to not use autopilot on any flights unless they are longer than 2 hours.

Im no flight/Sim pro but I do enjoy the 207 over the 172 so far I do also sense more power and more responsive on ground and in air. I will try out the other Cessna's soon. Cheers
