Yes!, My trolling foot control is slightly different from yours and I had to take off the control slide and slip larger size of cardboard from the opposite side of the circuit board where you lifted but it worked great and now it operates as it should. Thank you so much!!

You’re a genius. I had an issue with the middle button that switches the motor on and off while using momentary mode. Cut a piece of thin cardboard, slipped it under the circuit board, and it works better than it ever has. Thanks so much for the tip!

About to try this , but curious how to clean the area. Mine is filled with dust and grit that has built up and been wetted. Not sure what exactly you put the cardboard between...

Wow! My unit was a slightly different configuration, but I was able to get a piece of cardboard between the base and the board and now I'm back in business. Thankyou.

I have the same pedal and some how it got stuck on high speed. Even when I put it on zero it still runs on high. Any ideas? Never experienced anything like it.

Great simple fix.

Fixed my problem as advertised. I had to put small pieces of business card in 2 places. One under the on/off momentary switch too.

A little bit of masking tape to hold the 3 springs in place before you turn it over works great.
