Thank you very much foir these series of videos. I am getting a weird behaivior with Octave Fuzzy Logix Toolbox. Some times it works like a charm, others don't. For example a can read a fis form a script file, but if I am trying to apply evalfis it gives a error. Other times if you first plot a msf and after that you want to use evafis it may happend or not that you get outcome from that fuction. Octave as mathematical tool is working fine. Any clue ? Thank you.

Why isn't the working directory automatically included in the search path? I created a function, saved it in the working directory and I get unknown trying to load. I save the function and then eliminated EVERYTHING from the the function prototype to the endfunction statement. Octave was STILL unable to find the function. I entered addpath(pwd) in the command window and that was that was needed for Octave to search the working directory. This is silly that Octave cannot search the working directory.

great! thx! the in.flow.couette.lmp.bak file is missing when i uncomment the 68th line like you do and save it to run again. there is just three files left while yours is four before VMD visulization. why?and how to solve it?

This series of tutorials is so interesting. The title got me on this one. I am a beginner using Octave for 3 weeks. Do you hae a video on plotting the following type of multiple curves: I am looking to control multiple, individual plots in different grid spaces and having them align. Let me explain. I have a dataset that is binary data (only ones or zeros) versus time (y versus x). I have many data sets (y1,x), (y2,x), (y3,x), etc, and want to have them on different graphs, but all the graphs need to be aligned. If you are familiar with a multiple channel osicilloscope, or a logic analyzer, that is the type of display I am trying to generate. After experimenting with a few methods, I ended up using the subplot and plot commands in a "for" loop. when the figure window opens, I get the plots. However, the plots are all squished vertically. When I enlarge the resulting "figure" window by dragging and resizing the window, the plots get larger, but so do the vertical spaces inbetween the plots, and the vertical spaces expand more than the vertical plots themselves. The problem is worsened when I have, let's say 15 plots. I cannot figure out how to control the spacing between the plots and/or the height of the plots themselves. I suspect it may have something to do with position or aspect ratio settings, but it is not easy to comprehend. Do you have a tutorial on this type of multi-plot size manipulation?

Hey, Really helpful video. Kudos!! I just have one small problem. The VMD app doesn't open. It tries opening the "OpenGL Display" window for 10 seconds and then closes. Any idea why it might be happening?

For me I followed the same procedures but never generated my sphere. What should be the problem sir?
