It's a generic HDMI touch screen from Aliexpress (it.aliexpress.com/item/1005005957866746.html) It has HDMI for Video and USB for Power and Touch functions.

Thanks for your comment. Yes it is possibile, it depends on the screen capabilities. Check if you can see /sys/class/backlight/…/brightness and try with the echo command like I did in the video. Try to send some numbers and see if the brightness change. My screen does not support this unfortunately, so I was not able to document it. And please let me know!

Hi and thank you again. I was able to get my screen to automatically shutoff with your help. I also don't have an option for screen dimming and was told that HDMI doesn't support it. My screen has a knob to adjust the backlight which i assumed was dimming but i guess not. I'll continue researching nonetheless. The most important thing was getting the screen to timeout and go blank which is awesome. Much appreciated tutorial.

You are right. Audio is a bit low. Let me know where you have difficulties, I can help. But no way to record it again. It takes so much time.

I don't know the details about Arduino Yun, but as long as it has SPI interface, it should be ok. Just find the respective Pins (MISO, MOSI, SCK, ...)

@@alessandronestaadventures Thank you so much. I did a comparison between the Yun and R3 and they both appear to have the same pin layouts.

@@kf4bzt I just had a quick look at the Yun. It uses a different microcontroller, ATmega32U4 instead of ATmega328P, so the sketch may be different and also the programmer you need to chose Arduino as ISP (ATmega32U4). This is all I hava found, but it is an experiment anyway. Let me know if you manage to do it.

Guarda l’altro video sulla configurazione del codice. Potrebbe aiutarti a configurare meglio il tuo USDx. Se hai cancellato qualcosa semplicemente riscarica il sorgente da GitHub

Si hai ragione, ho rivisto il video e ho commentato l’#else sopra allo swap rotary per invertire il verso dell’encoder rotativo. A me in configurazione originale va al contrario.

I guess it is probably possible, in that case, the Raspberry should act as an SPI programmer. But I never tried that.
