    Wouldn't it be good if the US and UK donated one of these to everyone who lost their legs due to their murder industry excesses...Iraq, Lybia, Afghanistan, Syria and soon to be Iran which has never invaded any country. Nice ...but not American.

    You never built the kickstands or a regular steering not stick. Also needs an auto sensor activation.

    No its not impressive debusky. Well not if you don't have your legs and have to battle the world with only your arms! Have you ever ridden a Segway? Yes they are freakin awesome and this unit may even provide an element of excitement if you have someone to help you set it up, transport it, turn it on and help you get into it... Other than that the concept of Segway wheelchairs are nothing more than pipe-dream HYPE! This useless goofy shit just pisses me off so please pardon me ok!What happens if & when the power fails? You get DUMPED!What happens if you hit the curb? You get DUMPED!What happens when you need to get on it and off it? Funny they never show that part! Does it work as shown in this vid? Why hell yes it does but there is so much more that's NOT shown in this vid! The Segway wheelchair is the DUMBEST fucking idea of the century. and the only reason that its promoted as aggressively as it is ,, is because Segway resellers are looking for that Holy Grail of mismanaged and frivolously spent Government (tax-payer) Money$$$ as they pretend to sell a sense of compassion and revolution to a sad scenario. Its all BULLSHIT HYPE at the end of the day my friend! The easiest Gold-mine targets these days are the Liberal "Progressive" participants in our Government that have friends in the Segway industry! Well I could be wrong because its a toss-up between them and the dumbass solar panel industry? lol Think about it!

    • @Hesam0000
      @Hesam0000 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are wrong friend. The problems you mentioned are all out of the lack of information. You can actually buy one, the ibot-style, for as low as $1500+shipping from China or a newer, used 2016 Segway $4000+a seat/steering/stand/sensor activation for $3500, total of $7500 which lasts for years. If power fails? It doesn't, because segway has 6 computers and 2 batteries, even if it malfunctions, your info-key buzzes and you'll stop, lower the legs and use cellphone to call for help. What happens if you hit a curb? A curb up to 3"+- it climbs, if you go straight for a curb, a dumb move, you fall but it's very hard to drop a segway. Don't forget that everyone falls, but those with guts get back up again one way or another. If you fall couple of guys will lift you and put back on segway which can stand by itself on 4legs. How do you transfer it? My favorite is like this: th-cam.com/video/y8DjU5LcPVQ/w-d-xo.html but you can do this too: th-cam.com/video/I7AZIaAAXqE/w-d-xo.html or this: th-cam.com/video/zuhHGLr9P8U/w-d-xo.html Always remember, people who enjoy their lives never think "What if I fall", they just do it and if someday they fall, getting up is a fun challenge too. That's life.

    Caveat emptor! This may not be the chair for you. These chairs do not come with a stabilizing bracket, like other such chairs, primarily manufactured in Europe. A bracket is important because without it the chair is not stable while you mount it and it will move and can throw you off and crash into your ankles, injuring them. The Segway motor is strong and the machine can overpower you easily. Mine threw me to the floor and smashed my head into the wall. The company brags about a new backrest but that is worthless if you cannot get on the chair. They need to stop selling them and develop a stabilizing bracket to make them useable. I bought one but too late realized the shortcomings, so it has just sit in my garage for two months, waiting for a promised bracket. I am still waiting. The company will not communicate with me and just ignores my emails.

      turn it off before getting on!

    • @dickgroff
      @dickgroff 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Sounds logical tom, but it does not work like that. It must be fully operational before weight is put on it. if there is weight on it before that it will not start. Also when it is off it cannot remain upright. it tilts, so the same problem is presented whether it is on or off before mounting.

    No, but you can buy a used Segway i2 for $3500 and build the seat for $700 or less, including stands that this one doesn't have.Only you have to work the sensors on and off to ride.

    I saw an electric motorcycle capable of 400 miles range and 160mph speed on GizMag e.mails I receive. The technology is already available only not yet mass-produced. Also technology is available for 4x4, stair-climbing gyroscopic chairs that can climb 45 degree slopes and last up to 40 miles. China started the 4x4 gyro chair(sold for $10k) & a 72volt motor similar to Segway can last up to 40 miles with better batteries.The problem is people are profiting from $200 junk so they ignore progress.

  • @Godscountry2732
    @Godscountry2732 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    yes NASA claims 90 percent efficiently in their flywheel battery,using electrical or some kind of mechanical input, they can get up to a very high speed quickly.Lipo batteries should get a big boost soon,in the form of capacity,we might see as much as a three fold increase,I'm excited.Someday soon,we will see,electric motorcycles,cars,small atv's,wheel chairs,scooters,you name it, running for 300 to 400 miles per charge
