Day 3 of the USA Nationals / AmCup1 at the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin brought one of my most exciting races yet: the 1000m against none other than the Inline Speed Skating World Champion and good friend, Sebastian Chevi Guzman Bittar from Spain! 🏆
In this intense showdown, I set a personal best first 600m with an opening 16.5 seconds in my first 200m, followed by a blazing 25.9-second lap. My final 1000m time? 1:11.19! ⏱️
