If you have the 120 to spend I've tried a lot of shin guards over the years and I like Venum elite evos the most. Fairtex looks cool but gets really soft quick in my experience and doesn't protect very well. The other brand I've tried that I absolutely love but never owned is twins. My buddy Danny has top kings and swears by them as well. DONT BUY HAYABUSA. Great makers of gloves and shorts but terrible shin guards. If you're on a budget and you want quality leather shin guards check out vali sport. Not a lot of cool colors or styles but they absolutely get the job done and last long.

can u explain lane theory?
Competitiveness is part of our DNA. Fear is a natural human response, it's how we deal with it
This is great! I looked up how to defend inside leg kicks on TH-cam and this was the only relevant result! Subbed!
Gitta roll off the fist. When it makes conyact. Twist your wrist.. and it rolls off turning into a jab
Pap rhe hand. Roll off like asians.. might hit tou i. The chest . . But thats better than tour jaw.. mummy
.ooh I forgot about gloves.. actually easier with gloves. Bare knuckles has to be perice
I think the lead is what I'm talking about, but it's usually open hand to sivert the fist.. n trap the jaw. but you guys are experts
That's not mummy, they just moved a non moving hand.. mummy is diverting a throwing punch and capitalizing
of course you can teach mistakes since you can't even call nutshots correctly, absolute disgrace ref
Really good video. Perhaps you could have shown the stance in full for the first mistake though.
Yes I agree. I even debated reshooting with an overlay
Yes you are the azz hole. Why ask if you're the azz hole then turn off the comments. You were clearly biased in that match and were on a bad ego trip.
I wouldn’t want to learn how to fight from a ref that can’t call a clear nut shot.
No Nuts were hurt during the filming of this content. Can you say the same thing about your feelings?
Right😂😂
@@CombatTheoryclearly your feelings are hurt since u turned off comments 🥚 head lookin ahh
@@CombatTheory That's an extremely immature response for a supposed "professional" either grow up or resign, we shouldn't have people with a child's mentality and ego determining the outcomes of a dangerous and serious sport. Embarresing
@@CombatTheory loser blind ref

Indeed
Gonna do those drills tonight
Thanks for the positive comment!
Awesome 👏🏽 continue with more hand trapping techniques. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the positive comment!
I think it’s good
Mostly it’s ok
Send foam noods
Great Video
Thank you
Very valid and constructive points cheers from Scotland
Thank you! Appreciate the positive words and view
so basically wing chun!
Movement is universal all martial arts have similar ideas just executed differently
This is boxing
Well I think it’s good!
It’s ok
Great Video
Thanks
If Nicky Ryan was a boxing guy
No idea if this is positive but it sounds great! Thank you 🙏
Great breakdown of this technique! You definitely clarified some things for me. Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge. Side note, I recently was taught toes down for a "longer shield". But I had another coach in the past teach, toes up. So im torn 🤷🏾♂️.
I firmly believe both are valid but just different purposes. I was first taught toes down but it didn’t work for me and when I was taught toes up I found it better!
Love it! Liked and subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
Great stuff
Appreciate the positivity
1:28 was the exact one I was thinking of. Saemapetch vs I think Rittiwada.
100%
Your fighter has good form, you obviously took your time with him. I like how he turns his straight punches over flat only at the end of the punch. Not many coaches get their guys to do that correctly..and other stuff.. the relaxed footwork.. He does need to keep his elbows down. And he needs to keep his guard hand in front of his face when he punches...but he has good form. Kudos, coach to coach.
Didn't you read the memo from all the "professionals" on youtube???? Trapping doesn't work, and trapping distance is BS 😈 P.S. Nice video 👍
Thanks for the view
1st rule to learning: Learn from someone that knows how to use the correct jargon. Probably someone who's actually been in a cage or ring. Hand trapping does not knock anyone out period, not debatable. If you want to sound like you know what you're talking about, use the correct jargon.
'When he PHDYFHDUANDIGUULLS' Man your mic is funky
I know I'm sorry this video has a few audio issues but I think the video itself is still worth the watch! Appreciate the feedback
AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHHAAHNA🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great video, love the clips. The audio whilst you're teaching gets quite distorted in specific parts and I can't tell what you're saying 😅
Sorry about that I know there was a couple of stops that I rubbed my microphone. Hopefully you can view it again and understand what I’m saying
@@CombatTheorysounds like overloading from the mic moving closer to your face/neck. Idk the setup, but w/ digital, it’s always safer to keep your levels low and boost in post. Then apply compression/limiting to keep the vol even more consistent 👍 Anyways, dope vid yall! These’re the similar principles used for cross-parrying a jab(closed stanced) or fooling someone in the lead hand probe fight in closed but especially open stance.
This can be done lead to lead, with grab being initiated from the outside and landing the cross or rear hook. I've found that I'm offline and out of position to be countered and I follow-up with a hook.
Interesting!
The pull down, Trap and step to side, in JKD we call these Laap Pac and Shifting on Angle.
Movement is Universal! Thanks for the interesting perspective
great vid, thanks!
Thank you
Great job, I love to see more options of hand trapping 👏🏽👍
Thank you
Beautiful hand traps 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
I had doubt on which side to slip on jab vs a cross. You cleared it all.
Well I think it’s good.
👋🏽
Thank you
First comment on first episode let's goooo
You got it!
American have weak shins in matches here. Don't overuse shin guards or shins will never get trained correct. But to recommend shin guard, Top King #1 and Ring to Cage make great also for hard sparring.
Top King gets lots of love
Hi, I’m thinking of getting the Combat Corner Muay Thai shin pads. Does it come in any other colors? How do I find out what size is best for me? and you mentioned something about a discount.
You can always message me on Instagram I typically see that first Paul_EP
My brother in Christ show the straps
Next time!
Excellent info!
Glad you think so!
I just watched a video of a UFC fighter named Rountree hitting his opponent with like a thousand inside leg kicks and the opponent just had no answer or defense for it. He seemed to ride the kick once but that was it. It's absolutely brutal! That's what brought me here. Anyway, great video!
I’ll have to check it out
