Can you explain Skill Cards in more depth? (How do you get them, where can you get more, Whats up with Darkmoon tickets? etc)

Are skill cards only for wildcard? Ive only done free pick or archetype

Do freepick people get cards too?

So prestigeing will let you reroll your character but why do that ? Why not just create a new character?

nice overview thanks - the skillcards isnt really somehting you can just "choose" like that on your very first playthrough.. i couldnt choose any of the cards you did :)

The Paladin quest line Charger mount (possibly also the Warlock one) 100% mount speed 10 Gold - Account Bound (so you can use it any character going forward). And you don't even have to do the quest line :)

I haven't played project ascension since 2020ish. This is extremely complicated. I'm debating whether to continue to play it or ignore the card nonsense. jfc.

this bad luck protection is nonsense. I can unlearn a talent and then see it 3 rolls later. This has been happening quite frequently the last 2 weeks. Ive also noticed patterns when unlearning talents. example if you unlearn Tame pet, it will give you mend pet straight after. this has been happening so frequently its hardly a coincidence. My current presitge im doing now im level 50 and ive seen some spells 3/4 times already which are useless and have no synergy to what i have currently

Hello if we find a card that is not listed on the list anywhere where do we need to go to report so It can get added in?

One HUGE oversight that I didn't cover in this video are darkmoon tickets. You get them from opening packs. You can buy ability cards you want from Silas with them from the darkmoon prizes section. You can also bank them and buy a random set of talent cards via the card opening UI at the bottom. I recommend just banking for the legendaries, but if there's a rare or epic you need, then that's another way you could get it. The cost goes up every time you do it. Finally, darkmoon tickets are per character, but you can buy bags of tickets from Silas to move tickets between characters.

everytime i prestige i get shit build so they didnt fix anything or i dont have bad luck protection at all i see 1 ability every 3 rerol lel

I have been playing locust since A52 expanded to TBC... and 8:28 I've notice you have munitions expert on with the buff Heavy Munitions (Armor-piercing= attack slower) instead of High velocity Munitions (Quick-draw= attack faster).. why not shoot faster? the -10% is not much to lose, but the faster you shoot the more quivers to fire. also I can see why this build is good for chimera cause it gets alot of bonus's for chimera but in A52 my strongest ability is Wild Wrath... (stabling at 21k Overhaul dmg with T5 raid gear) also I dont use expunge cause I know a macro to keep Naturally Strong up instead. x)

If you get tundra tracker, you can put in deep freeze which is free damage without having to use a GCD

crafting in itself is NEVER useless, end game level recipes are almost always in demand to fill in gaps in gear until the final gear can be obtained.. jewel crafting especially will stay in demand at high levels... tailoring for bags is always needed, though i think 1 or 3 special bags my come from leather or engineering depending on xpac your playing.... blacksmithing is also needed if one is after legendary weapons such as Sulfuras... and of course like jewelcrafting, enchanting and alchemy tend to see high use at end game....

In your video you started off with four skills. When i start a character i only get one, am i doing something wrong, or was this a change they made?

just avoid PvP its full of people hacking that the devs do nothing about, in fact from some reddit threads there are some players allowed personally by the devs to hack and cheat with damage boosters.

Tried this, it does ALOT of dmg without gear, not sure how it scales with gear tho

Thanks for this guide. This was something I was looking for as a new player. I always liked what they do, But it was just too much. And then I heard of the upcoming updates and such, So I had the stuff in my account and got the beta. LOL Now, I have something to work with. I can use this guide to get used to the game. Get it to max level. Get my bearings and really get to know what I am doing along the way. Seems like a marriage of Hunter/Druid with some small touches of other classes tossed in. heh

Am I understanding what a synergy roll is? 1. You get 2 abilities instead of 1 at certain levels. 2. The bonus ability complements your current build. 3. It happens occasionally, not every level.

The editing and flow of the video is fantastic. All the little focuses, zoom ins, and highlights help make it easier to understand what your explaining. Thinking I might come back and give locust ranger another shot with tbc gear and talent slots 😉

What I don't understand is now when I start a new toon on Elune I can NOT use that *Dice of Destiny* to help select three starting abilities. Now it immediately has me roll for just one and more often than not it is something VERY hard to begin with... 🎲

I know this is an older video and something may have changed, but how are you rolling 4 abilities at level 1? I only got 1, is that a part of prestiging?
