Hi there. Food and accommodation are definitely cheaper in Cambodia. But most other things like electronics and clothing brands are the same as in South Africa. That being said, there are so many markets selling knock off items, and it's hard to tell the difference. Thanks for watching 🙏

In my personal view, Cambodia is not as popular as Thailand as a tourist destination. But I was surprised to see the amount of tourist. It is definitely gaining more and more popularity, but it still has some ways to go to get to Thailand and Bali levels. That being said, there are tourist zones with bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and they are saturated.

You make very valid points and I agree with you. I've been a tourist for a few days and I guess I don't get to experience the living conditions. But trust me, there are worse places in the world, and worse run cities as well. Yes, Cambodia has some catching up to do, but they're getting there step by step. I found the people to be extremely polite, friendly and kind. The food is amazing, and yes, very cheap. Thank you for your insight and thank you for watching.🙏

phnom penh is growing at a very fast pace, its a beautiful place to live and to visit, i travelled all over asia but phnom penh is the only city i keep coming back to
