*I've taken the motor out on my 12 foot row boat a number of times. My boat is probably a little heavy for this motor but it does the job unless the wind is really going.->**allmy.tips/Minn-Kota?u73 ** It trolls at the right speed and when I need to move I turn it up to 5 and I can move along pretty well. The trigger to lift the motor is a little bit of a hassle when you need to lift it fast and your hitting the bottom, but that is more of a user error. Be aware of your depth. In order to have the motor be 12 inches in the water I'm using the whole length of the pole, but it works. Make sure your battery is fully charged before going out.*

Man the mount kit costs more than the freaking boat. Let alone the motor. I'm trying to get a cheap motor off craigslist, was talking to a dude about it and all. But the mount kit is expensive, plus the out board motor that the guy will sell me is mad cheap, but it's way too big, maybe I can build my own mounting kit.

I just received it and tested it, I noticed it has a second layer inside that acts as a back up if the outer layer gets damaged, im very impressed, it seems like great value for money

never had a problem with the fabric of the boat. it was never punctured or deformed by the sun rays.

When you go out with your camera and any other electrical stuff do you use some kind of water resistant things just incase the boat gets a puncture/hole?, ive just ordered one of these boats and am wondering how strong the material will hold up, are they pretty tough/durable?
