友川さんの詩は普通に聴いていたらどれもが複雑でオドロオドロしていて苦しくなるがじっくり聴いてみると共通点が見えて来る。其の内容は一見どれも此れも世間からドロップアウトした人の内容に思えるが実は其の裏には泣き笑いのだけの一般的な人生に於けるシステム等を遥かに超えた人間が誰もが絶対に観たくない其の先の『本当の真理』を凝視しようとしているのだと思う。身じろぎもせず。

此の「ピストル」は友川さん流の追い詰められたやせ細る人間の魂の「絶体絶命」に「抵抗」する怒りを込めた壮絶な魂の「根底からの叫び」に依る生への回帰の唄だと思う。

Great performance. I saw him in Koiwa 3 years ago in a small venue and he played this track and then railed about the Japanese government's handling of Fukushima. What a stunning performance it was! Glad to see that he's finally becoming a little bit popular in Japan due to some airplay on radio. I could watch him live again and again.

I really do love Kazuki Tomokawa. He is a fabulous musician, and his music is so powerful. I have a hard time showing him to most people, because I think they are a little taken back by his unique singing style. It may definitely be an acquired taste, but I think it's good to listen to something unlike anything you've heard before. I personally think he is a genius, and a great song writer, and there is a reason why he is called the "screaming prophet." Thanks for uploading.
