The "Diseased Lichenthrope" is what's known as a frog fish. If you've ever seen the first spongebob movie, it's the big red monster halfway through the movie. The name of the boss is a pun on lycanthrope (Werewolf), but it's covered in Lichen (alge)

Ill be honest. I like the mechanics of this game, but my bias towards Power Tour is too strong.

funny enough Pegaurus is supposed to be one of the hardest ones and later in the game you'll learn something about him that makes the fight easier. i found that to be a cool little mechanic and made me feel less bad for not beating him on the first encounter haha

I don’t think this is a “definitive” ranking, because the amount of absolutely amazing molding and painting on the later amiibo getting drowned out basically entirely due to character bias is killing this list for me. Seriously, some of the most high quality ones are stuck in the bottom! Richter, Ken, Bayonettas, Kazuya, they all are amazing, but there’s a bias holding them back on your list!

They may not be the Smash line, but what are your thoughts on the two Hammer Slam Bowser and Turbo Charge Donkey Kong Skylander amiibo hybrids? They be pretty dank and work fairly well.

How many in game ‘pinches’ were you in with these boss battles, (pun intended) I remember a few times myself wanting to find some better defense items so I can wall attacks just to get demolished. While I’ll not want to play Dark Souls myself, I do like a challenge.

This direct caught me off guard in the best way possible. I didn’t expect much Mario,except for one final trailer for Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. So the fact that this direct kicked off with an announcement of Mario & Luigi Brothership was a nice surprise. There were rumors of a new M&L title but to see it was actually true was good. On top of that,a new Mario Party as well. Glad to see Metroid Prime 4 even if it doesn’t have a concrete release date yet,atleast it’s still in development and not cancelled and they actually showed us something for the first time in years. I’m hyped for Brothership. I’ve played Dream Team and Partners in time but Dream Team was the only one I finished and I enjoyed it. Mario fans are winning right now,especially Mario RPG fans.

What I like a lot about this this game's version of the OST is that they didn't just redo the original soundtrack, but they also made a bunch of new songs unique to this version like more character themes for partners, important NPCs, etc. My favorite new addtion regarding music though is that the song that plays at the thousand-year door is now a progressive melody that gets more instruments and vocals added to it with every crystal star you bring to it.

Just watched this after watching your Thousand-Year Door video, and a consistent theme of your channel seems to be "Insane enthusiasm," which is great, and may convince me to stick around! ...Of course, there was one tiny detail that you glossed over, and that's that Zelda has been playable in the past. If we don't count spinoffs like Hyrule Warriors and Cadence of Hyrule, there were the CDi games. In fact, if you look at Zelda's blue scarf design in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it's almost a perfect match to her outfit in Zelda's Adventure! Gotta love deep cuts like that! As far as games that excited me the most, I'd have to go with Stray, Mario & Luigi, Mario Party, Hundred Line, Zelda, Donkey Kong and especially Ace Attorney! Regarding Metroid Prime 4, I am horrendous with shooters, so I won't be playing it, but I will at least admit that I'm excited about it, because I agree that it looks gorgeous, and the fans deserve to finally get a glimpse of it! I hope it sells well, even if I personally probably couldn't get past Area 1, haha!

I absolutely adore your enthusiasm throughout this video! Considering that I adored the original... 20 years ago... and also signed a petition for it to be remastered, it is beyond-incredible to see so many people, new and old, finally getting it! I'm especially glad that you told off those folks who complain about framerate too much. I mean, Ocarina of Time runs at 15 frames per second, but it's still the highest-rated game on Metacritic... Also, one thing I don't hear talked about enough regarding Vivian's story is Beldam's contradictory nature. Specifically, Beldam worships an ancient demon that wants to destroy the world... but a person being trans is just too much? Someone needs to sort out her priorities...

Legend of Zelda: you play as Zelda, Mario and Luigi as a new game (not a remake), Mario Party new game that combines with some older maps, Metroid Prime 4 set out for 2025 (hey at least it was announced) and everything else but not really interested in it myself, happy for the others who are though.

Really looking forward to the Mario and Luigi, MP4, and Mario Party games! The question is now - will there be any more big switch announcements before the new console comes out? Or is this truly the finale?

I love rpgs and my wife loves weird farming sim action adventure hybrid games so we’re both pretty happy I’m a bit mixed on the new Zelda though. I saw a bunch of comments from guys saying their daughters like Zelda but wish they could play as a girl-so at first I was like “yeah this game is for them, not for me” but then I thought more and was like “man imagine loving these games and wanting to play as Zelda, you finally get to play as Zelda, and it’s a totally different type of game that changes a lot of what you like from the series, who is this game for exactly?” Lmao I’ll still get it and probably still like it but it’s definitely a weird call. Especially right after a large chunk of the playerbase was hoping 2D Zelda would be where we get our classic Zelda fix
