They are excellent. I’m probably one of their biggest fans-have everything and have seen them 20+ times. Need some new bangers and a new album.
Achado
Andy looks and sounds FANTASTIC here, fab songs too💯💜💋
Jajaja q chistoso se veía con lentes.
Mi canción favorita de Mesh
Now if ever a song aged like fine wine, this is it. The point is directly applicable to today's politics, even to this very day. What with one party in this country (the United States) trying to convince the public that things were better in 1950.
Who play on 2 keyboard gretings from Poland
If you weren't decent on this programme you got found out, erasure were brilliant 😊
That would've been badass if Andy was wearing traditional red and white alter boy gowns .
❤
I never seen dave look like this.He looked different. I enjoyed watching
I cannot help but watch DM now and think, WTF did Fletch actually do on stage ? Martin stated in interview recently that he did nowt other than the simple structures shown to him by Martin himself......
❤❤❤
Kinda looks like John Stamos in this era. It might be the sunglasses.
❤
Not Dave's best look,he looks like a Jewish drugs dealer.
And it's in the KEY of love. C Major. Red.
One of the best live performances
whose the fat dad on the keys headbanging?
Lol. well we all know its not Alan. Wtf is wrong with him haha
I was at my higschool...wen theirs singing around world. Greats times 80th Never came back💥🎶🎵🎼💿💿💿💿💿💿💿💿💿 Am writting from Ec in Southamerica.💯👋
People, well fans, often criticized DM around this time but I think this particular song was excellent.
This was probably their most creative period (after Alan left). It was downhill (creatively) after this. Just listen to the drivel they are churning out now. It really is bad.
@@ramalama9650Clearly you have no hearing, their new album is a masterpiece, topped with a sellout world tour they are on atm I think you are tragically wrong my friend.
We all have our opinions. Really though, just look back at look the Devotional era and watch the video, and earlier ones. If this is a masterpiece, what was that? The tour is a sell out because fans want to hear the classics, that is all. I have seen them play right from the start (more times than I can remember) and slowly the tracks have become worse. Everybody seemed to nip to the bog when they played the newer stuff (after Ultra). I think their biggest problem was when Dave Gahan started to put his songs on their albums. He's not a writer, he's a singer. He totally destroys the flow on 'Universe' and 'Playing'. He should have kept his writing to his own albums. Whereas the solo albums by Martin Gore are superb and they were all covers. He kept all the self penned tracks for DM! It's a shame Mr Gahan didn't do the opposite and keep all his tracks for his devotees and release them on his solo work. I have problems with my hearing though, so what would I know? @@PeteBlack76
This was a rare decent song post SOFAD
@@ramalama9650Wagging tongue and Ghosts again - what do you think of them? 😊
Nobody does mid-tempo better than dM.
I like the live version but that keyboardist doesn't fit the Depeche vibe. 😆
I used to love watching TFI before I hit the town. Those were the days. So glad I was young in the 80's and 90's 🎉🥳🍾🎈👯
Dave revenait de loin, et sa voix était encore fragilisée, de plus, plus figé, regard triste derrière des lunettes inhabituelles. Il ne dansait plus mais dès EXCITER sa sève abreuvait ses veines. Dave ❤ you
👏👏👏Laurence always 🔝💯 Exactly words.😉
@@AndreaAnd-gg4ye oh hola Andrea bellissima y inteligent 💡 So happy 🙏❣️😍 to read your comment here 🎁💛✨️ Bon début de semaine Andrea 👍

Glitch in the video 🤷♂️
it was an extremely difficult period for DM, just look at Dave, but the most amazing thing is how in the space of just a year they soared, even Dave's voice in 1998 was, in my humble opinion, at his highest level.
wow great find --- RIP FLETCH!
I completely lost interest in Depeche Mode after Violator. It amazes me that they are still so massively popular in 2024 considering the poor quality of their more recent output. I would rather go to my own funeral that a DM concert these days…!
Wow what a dreadful person you are
Yet you spent time to watch this and comment
I completely lost interest in your post after I.
@@StephenTaylor60 I did make a slight mistake in my original post, though. I did quite like ‘Songs of Faith and Devotion’ and it was a good tour but did not hit the heights of ‘Music for the Masses’ or ‘Violator’. If you enjoy their later output as much as those albums I am very happy for you!
@@BuyOneGetOneFree Thanks but Ultra is their best album for me but each to their own.
❤vedno DM❤ SUPER❤
I don't like how Dave looks here
I do 😆
Love this tune 🎵 even to this day it’s one of my favs 😍😍
And the first live performance that Dave Gahan can remember for the past 5 years!
Dave looks like Filthy Frank (Joji)
Oh god Dave's vocal here is bleh
He looks like 1997 Michael hutchence there
Who’s the second keyboard player????
Dave Clayton
@@Darkem-ur5ho Thanks. Never heard of him. Interesting.
Plus they’ve sold more then 30 million records
100 million more like
Likely more than 100 million now

🥰👍❤❤❤👍🥰
Dave Clayton 👏
the last really good DM album.
I really like Memento Mori. It's a bit of a return to form.
Have to agree with that, love DM
Memento Mori says hello.
You didn't pay attention to playing the angel
I agree , But PTA and MM are very good. Delta machine was good too
Miss Alan
What an amazing voice! When music was better
Geddy Lee on vocals!!! Love it
😂😂😂🤣🤣😍
Naughty
Who is on keybord on this video ? Bamonte ? it's not Gordeno
Dave Clayton
Dave Clayton, who played all keyboards on Ultra and brought Eigner to the band.
I enjoy this song every single day
Fascinating how they completely lost touch with melody after Violator. Not a single song that can be remembered. Pathetic
@Rolandjoffe1234 you don’t remember Songs of Faith and Devotion? Now THAT’s pathetic.
Who’s Melody? I don’t remember a Melody in the band.
Violator is their most mainstream album since the early days. SOFAD and Ultra are super amazing and memorable
@@sstrange96 have to agree there were no duds on Ultra!! Dave was lucky to be alive after that period true pain in this work.
Ultra is a phenomenal album. The only better DM album is Black Celebration.
Beautiful live versions of two beautiful songs! Vince and Andy are amazing
