❤️❤️❤️
Is nobody gonna talk about the dad giving his son a cigarette 😭
He hast clearly a male appearance! ❤️❤️❤️ ... And if he wants to be seen as a male person, why not?
I wish just ONE of my parents loved me for who I am and not who I was…I just want one..(I’m trans with unaccepting parents..
Ok but when he cut his hair why did he look like Ponyboy 😭
damn they blued his ass
0:26 we have the same stuffed animal
Awesome!!!!
absolutely in love with the shot at the end referencing life is strange!! this is one of the best trans short films i've seen!
The blue hair looks awesome. Also I love that this short film is including supportive parents for once. I know not all parents are supportive but I think it’s still important to show the good moments as well as the struggles.
Oh this is beautiful!! 💙
There's so many choices big and small that I love here- The little smug satisfaction after removing the 'e' from the cake; using the blue paint to style his hair; the way for once we have parents that actually COME around on this stuff. Magnificent
cak
i've spent my life wishing to be a boy, but i dont think i'll get there. i'm too afraid of disappointing people. my grandma out of all people asked me if i was having issues with gender and i just said no. i would love to come out, but i juet cant.
i'm so happy for kids and teens that live as themselves, i just wish it was me. i wish i could've grown up as a teenage boy. because as soon as you've passed the age of eighteen, it feels like it's too late. like you've missed your chance.
@@louuu573Not sure if you'll see this 3 months after writing your comment but I feel the same way bro. My mom has asked me if I felt like a girl, if everything was complete in me and I said no then she turned serious and asked if I was serious so I laughed and said I was just joking. I've also got two grandmas, one who very much hates gay people so I don't know how I'll begin to tell them how I feel. I'm hopeful that at some point, I can be brave enough to do it but not anytime soon. I hope one day you also get the courage to do so.
When I was a kid (I was born a female) I wished so bad to be a boy. I mean I was a boy, I thought I was the same as my male friends, and other girls looked like "girls" to me, and different from me. I remember making one of my biggest kid's tantrum because my mom wanted to make me wear a dress for school. But years went by and this strange feeling went off and I now don't feel bad anymore about myself. I'm still a girl but dont't identify as such, but it does not make me mad anymore when people do. It's how it went for me but you are a different person so be sure to make your choices. If it implies transitionning because you're suffering about you assigned gender, try to consider it !
this is brilliant
💝💝
As trans boy this is amazing
So basically this short film promote a lie to make young and naive girls and boys that they can become something they will never be... Because a girl wanna be strong and don't wanna wear dresses, doesn't mean she can become a boy, not a man... She just has preferences to some father figure. Doesn't make us a boy somehow... Looking like a boy, or a man doesn't make a man of you... A man is a human adult male. Male means you have the genital organe that produce sperm to inpregnant female of the specie you belong to. This kind of false propaganda should not be authorized...
Why do you care?
@@MrVoid-td3rv I care about truth, and this is propaganda. Maybe you are too blind to see it...
LMAOOO
So pressed and for what, if u don't wanna do it alr just let ppl live
let people be themselves.

Extraño a mi ex

His blue hair goes perfectly with his blue eyes
Ses cheveux + ses yeux = 🔥😍

@@MyTwIsTeDniGhTmArE oui, c'est le meme
@@hihi-nc9nzthat’s literally what the entire movie’s point is about. Be respectful mate
@@danielliammellywood3139 shit my bad bro french is not my first language i thought "ses" could mean her or his. i meant HIS hair and HIS eyes >>>
@@MyTwIsTeDniGhTmArE my bad i meant his
This is so wholesome and yes, frick gender roles.😂❤
If only my mom (only parent) would be that supportive.... 😢
U are loved ! 🫶🏻
I am in a similar situation. It sucks to know that people aren’t supportive of who you are, even though they are supposed to love you no matter what. If you haven’t already, I hope you can find people who accept you for who you are.
4:3 aspect ratio? Noice.
This made me want a sticker printer so bad
The quality is insane 🤍 tysm for this ✨
blue hair and pronounce😭
No stop this is the first thing I thought like it’s such a good short film and I hate how this is what my brain thinks of first
When the annoying bullyies give you a new hair color idea
I wish i had discovered that am a trans girl at an early age most probably I would've been a girl right now 💔
Awesome awesome awesome!!!
this is so sweet! it shows some hardship but also has a happy ending :')
beautiful , thank you :,)
This is a beautiful movie. Thanks. Im really crying rn
I cried
Help I thought this was mtf but it's actually ftm
Lol that’s the ftm experience
Hope this will get more view because it's a beautiful short film. And extremely positive I think it shows that your life will be 1000 times better and easier if your parents got your back as LGBTQ+ kids.
Rubbish. Being trans is nothing to do with LGBTXXX bull. That communist movement do more harm than good.
ce film mérite beaucoup plus de visibilité
Nicely done. But: Why the cigarette? It is of no dramaturgic relevance but keeps the image of smoking being normal alive.
because it shows that the father is someone who has grown up in a different time (one where smoking was normalized) and it adds more emphasis to the fact that he accepts the protagonist for being trans.
@@NatalleeK The film would be perfectly fine without the smoking. The cigarette doesn't add anything. So, why promoting, especially when young people are the target group
@@nicklenz7030 the film isn't promoting smoking just because it portrays it at all. People smoke in the real world. Many teenagers live in households that contain smokers. Are they not allowed to be represented in film?
I guess we just shouldn't show anything bad in films ever
@@NatalleeK No Nat, it should be shown, when there is a relevance for the plot. That is almost never the case. As smoking is one of the most deadly addiction, which also affects others, it shows , in my opinion, a massive lack of responsibility when it is shown in films, especially when it is promoted as stress releasing or relaxation agent.
this is the first trans short film i’ve seen that wasnt entirely negative so thank you for that
This is an amazing film made me cry
Well that’s a great thing for me to see today
I had no idea what they said but I knew exactly what they discussed
Use subtitles
such a great quality film, loved it <3
