The Yashahime manga provided some flashbacks: Kagome and Inuyasha having fertility problems for years, Rin growing up in the village under granny Kaeda foster care with the occasional visit from Sesshoumaru (and of course lots of gifts from him too), and being super close friends/"sisters" with Sango and Kagome, the blossoming romance of adult Rin/Sesshoumaru and dating- Kagome being jealous and demanding Inuyasha do more romantic stuff too, Rin's/Kagomes pregnancy's, Moroha being born shortly before the twins, Sesshoumaru had an mansion built for his family out west with male servants (strict no female rule) - but Rin found the mansion cold and drafty and missed her granny Kaeda and the others (Kagome, Sango, Inuyasha etc.) Too much and when back to raise the girls at granny Kaeda village. Inuyasha actually holding baby Moroha and being an dotting/nervous dad, and holding/helping take care baby Towa and baby Setuna and commenting on Sesshoumaru being so busy ( dealing with incoming comet and other aristocratic stuff- they didn't know that at the time) and that baby "Towa and Setuna probably think he's their papa" - Rin says "that's pretty big talk from someone who wouldn't help with diaper duty" - and she chases after him with an dirty smelly diaper and he flees. Lol. In the manga Rin and Kagome were cursed and sealed away and Inuyasha was critically wounded while dealing with the comet so Sesshoumaru sealed him away too. Sesshoumaru having many un-mother demons raising baby Moroha/Towa/Setuna at his mansion until they turned 4, the mansion was attacked - the were send to Sango/Miroku's house - but they ended up being raised by granny Kaeda too. All the stuff we wanted to see in the anime.

Honestly the story line was much better in anime ..it just needed more details

@@DiamondDreams789FIFi I kinda of viewed that as an half truth from Jaken. Yes, Sesshoumaru doesn't express emotions much. Jaken understands his master very well, but after travelling together with little Rin all that time,(with Sesshoumaru being gone most of the time off fighting) Taking care of her: playing games with her and scolding her when she misbehaved and eating meals with her - he eventually warmed up to Rin alot. Jaken became like her old grumpy, but caring grandfather/father/care giver figure.

If you're talking about 1:15 or somewhere around that, he didn't. The red cord connects Rin's life to this old hag that wants to kill their twin daughters but Sesshomaru refuses to kill the old hag because it will kill Rin and he can't bring her back to life. She tells him that her love for their daughters are stronger than his and wants to protect them even if it means she dies.

On the day Naraku died Rin was adopted by old granny Kaeda. Many years later she met up with Sesshoumarus again. They fell in love & got married & had twins. A Jealous demoness called Lady Zero' cursed Rin, saying she would undo the curse if they handed over the newborn twins. Rin threw herself on Sesshoumaru sword saying she would rather die then hand over their newborn twins. Oh, and the fandom is divided on weather or not Sesshoumaru and adult Rin being an couple is sweet or creepy.

I live both characters but this feels really really weird...I mean if you raise someone as a kid and now there adult and you have kids with them?

@@robertonline6543 it's ok....I think it's romantic to raise a child and Mary them when they become a adult. They do love each other!!! Rin and sesshomaru love each other....do not worry they are not related!!! No blood relation. I would never Mary my children cause that would be nasty and rape. But rin is not related to sesshomaru!!! Rin is not his daughter so it's ok....well I guess in anime and cartoons!!! Marying the child you raise is more accepted in anime cause it's just a cartoon and anime. It's not real life. In real life most people do not Mary the child they raise even when they are not related. For me I raise any child I would never Mary them when they become a adult..... I live in 🇺🇸 America so I do not know how they do things in other countries. Maybe in other countries they Mary children....but I'm not sure how that works. 🤔 I understand how you feel though. I see why you feel weird.

@@melodyadams6271 I do love Rin... Wasn't she killed by wolves or something and bought back to life by sheshumura ( sorry butchering name). This cartoon is so sappy (in a good way ) but dammit I got hooked on it. The storylines were pretty good. I remember watching it super late at night on cartoon Network. It was a perfect timeslot and really kept you invested in it. I'm not feeling the new characters but it is nice seeing everyone again and where there at. I kinda wish they looked much older .they still look the same even kagome hasn't aged at all. The only one I feel terrible for is kikio...she really deserve a happy ending.
