Gareth might have been the smartest villain in the entirety of The Walking Dead. He was the only one who immediately sized up Rick as the biggest threat in the room and tried to have him killed right off the bat, and he was going to kill Glenn and Daryl for good measure. Nobody else posed as much of a threat as those three in terms of leadership and willpower. The only reason he failed was because of an outside threat destroying his entire fortress.

Only thing I dont like is the face of horror on Glenn, Maggie, etc faces. These werent people that were redeemable and like Rick said they would have done it to anyone. There shouldnt even be a shock factor of "look how far we've come, we are full of murderous intent when the tough gets going". Thats the world that was portrayed. You want to offer sympathy and compassion but if someone crosses you wrongly, youre entitled to be jury and executioner . Fuck Gareth
