Thanks
Welcome !!
I just watched your final assembly and I must say very detailed and nicely created assembly. I plan on watching the full package, I am sure much to learn from your full package. Thank you for sharing as I am sure that some of Engineers and CAD enthusiast will enjoy your hard work.
Thank you so much !!
Beautiful tutorial. Which jet engine inspired you to create this CAD project?
Thank you !! I had a stp file so i remodeled, unfortunately it's corrupted now
Thanks. Hope to see more projects
Sure, more things coming up !!
Can you send me this part
Hi, you can search in grabcad website
I just wrote you an E-Mail..... 😉🙂 I hope it helps a bit.
Just saw your mail and it means a lot, I'll go through it and revert back if any, thanks !!,
@@caddscience8822 Ahhh.....I'm glad it helps. Feel free to Contact me if you need help in anything.....i'll try to help you. :-)
@@xBlackThoughts I replied to that mail, hope it clears your doubts thanks!!
Please, tell me what model is that turbine? Is it used in what kind of aircraft?
They're used in fighter jets
You should've shown how to create the Rivet. I think that some people don't know how to create it without any measurements. Or a short Video how to include the Rivet with help of the Toolbox from Solidworks. 🙂
Hi, since rivet is a standard part like screws and bolts I have given the dimensions
You seem to be quite unsure about some things. But I know that from myself too. So here's a tip...before you make a video, go through it again for yourself. That way you can avoid mistakes and also keep the video shorter at the end. The note is NOT meant in a bad way. 🙂😉 Anyway........again a good Video. 🙂
You're absolutely right, I was doing it for the first time too, will definitely consider your feedback thank you !!
Very satisfying
Hugs from Brazil. Great job
Obrigado !!
Could you tell me what the specification of bearing, please?
I don't have exact specification but you can find it in 3dfindit or traceparts website as per the dimensions
Do you have a PDF file of the drawings of this model? If so, where can I reach it?
Sorry, there are no pdf's for these
This is crazy detailed
Thank you, Keep supporting !!
Hi will you do any type of analysis on this jet engine
Yes, I'm planning to do
@@caddscience8822 for the analysis what software will you use? will you do a simulation?
@@jhd1283in solidworks itself I'm planning to do
@@caddscience8822 oh nice, what if i use the simulation using ansys fluent would there be some difficulties?
@@jhd1283 anysys is way better than solidworks for analysis 👍
Nice one brother ❤
Thank you !!
bellisimo !!
Grazie !!
Very usefull
Glad to hear that
bro can you help me? where did you got all the components? how did you know what is inside a jet inside to draw a model? is there any ways to render a hardware model without having it in home? and taking thousands of pictures
Hi, i have mentioned the link to the STP file in the first video description, i created with the help of that file too
The Best
Thank you !!
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
How to contact you? Could you share your gmail ID.
There's an e mail id in the description, you can reach us there
Will this model be eligible to run CFD?
Since it's a remodeling, with optimization as per your requirement, then you can check it
2:06 i cant coincident this line like you did cause the point can't be selected, did you know why it's happened?
Try redrawing the line by holding Ctrl, because sometime it'll be auto constrained
bu programı yapanlar bile bunu çizemez. çok iyi
büyük iltifat, teşekkür ederim !!!
harika bir şey yapıyorsun
Teşekkür ederiz, desteklemeye devam edin !!!
I always wanted to make this kind of jet engine, but no youtube videos or online jet engine measuremts were available. Thanks for showing this tutorial. How did you get the measurements for designing it? Any specific website?
I got the STP file from one of my friends, so thought of recreating, so I'm measuring the dimensions from that file and remodeling it, I'm finding the parametric model too, I'll let you know once I find !!!
@caddscience8822 Oh, ok. Can you share any of your social media account ids or Gmail ID?
@@caddscience8822 Can u share the 2D drawing of this
@@darrylpinto776 hi sorry I don't have drawings for these, but I had a step file but it's corrupted
and please can u tell me how many episodes left of this jet engine model series?
will be around 30
hey bud! you are doing great just keep doing it. You will get success one day.
Thank you !!!
This is really cool, Can you please share 2d drawings of the parts with the dimensions?
Hi, thank you !! Since I don't have engineering drawings i have shared the link of the STP file in my first video description, you can download from there
Got this video recommendation today. Your model is very impressive. I am subscribing for more amazing videos from your channel. By the way, can you share the engineering drawing of all the parts.
Hi, thank you !! Since I don't have an engineering drawings i have shared the link of the STP file in my first video description, you can download from there

BRO KINDLY EXPLAIN WHAT YOU DONE EVERY THING IN STEP BY STEP (LIKE VOICE OVER)
@@mnaresh06 thanks for the suggestion, will update this in future videos thank you !!
it looks so great and the attention to detail 🔥🔥
Thank you !! Keep supporting
next part please
Coming soon
Hey, what are those shimming used for exactly ? Is it like in assembly or machining, can you explain a bit please what these shimming are for ?
Shim is a pack of thin plates usually 5mm (1x2mm, 2x1mm, 1x0.5mm and 2x0.25mm) used to adjust the locating pin or NC(Mylar), because the manufacturing dimensions may slightly vary compared to the design model
So amazing sir
Thanks a lot !! Keep supporting
This is soo cool! please keep doing these videos.
Thank you! Will do!
@@caddscience8822 Done this part
And very importantly all the shimming directions should be either parallel or perpendicular to the principal planes !!!
So nice sir
Thank you, keep supporting
So good sir
I applaud your attention to detail. I have a question for you as an expert in part design: I am studying mechanical engineering (first semester of my masters) with a specialisation in energy systems. I never really focused on "machine design" at university because I liked the 'maths' courses more than the 'designing' ones. A few weeks ago, I started to learn how to create CAD designs, as I've noticed that AI is being integrated into CAD software (such as "generative AI" or "shape optimization"). I'm learning about CAD mainly through TH-cam. My question is, do you have any advice on how I should approach learning CAD software? Please bear in mind that I don't want to dive into extreme depths like I did with energy systems, but I realise that this tool could be very useful in my future. Thank you very much! PS: i am working on fusion 360
Fusion 360 is a good choice, since you're learning from youtube explore the other softwares too, I prefer you to just go with the basics, once you become familiar then see how far your interest takes you, All the best
The same goes for me. I started privately with Autodesk Inventor about 2 years ago. Later I moved to Solidworks and Inventor was history for me personally from then on... Later I successfully completed an online course and passed the CSWA and CSWP exams. The CSWPA and CSWE will follow privately. But as @caddscience8822 has already said: look at everything and find out which program you can get along with best. I wish you all the best too. *Thumbs up*
In two way shimming firstly said one is horizontal (-) and vertical side( | )shimming but later you said chopping side (perpendicular) shimming why sir
Hi, shimming should always be parallel or perpendicular to principal planes, please mention the time where I said perpendicular to chopping, I will explain, thanks
@@caddscience8822 no sir, I am asking one default x direction shimming and another one coming z direction shimming why sir , I believe that x and y direction shimming required not in z direction please clarify sir
Ok i understood your concern, default shimming is the nearest principal plane for the chopping, it can be x y or z
@@caddscience8822 in two way shimming we can take xy or xz if x is default direction shimming, thank you for clarifying sir
@@newtechnology9263 yes, if x is default direction and less than 15 degree then only x direction is enough, I will also upload video on shimming very soon, please watch it for more information on shimming
Stay tuned for the next video
needs commentary while you are building it.
Sure, thanks for the suggestion since it was an hour and half video i chose to talk only at some points, okay i will consider this from the next video
Wonderful explanation
Thank you, i explained only some points, The rest of the things can be clearly understood in the video
how can i convert fides files to step whitout fides software?... can you tell me which converter are you using?! thanks!
i'm not sure, but try creo or cross manager once
