I agree, but in fairness I think it should be pointed out that probably nobody else could have done any better. Dick York was the best at playing Darrin because Dick York created Darrin. Dick Sargent never had the opportunity to just play Darrin, he had to play Dick York playing Darrin. Does that make sense? To put it another way, when Dick York started playing Darrin, nobody in the audience knew who Darrin was. When Dick Sargent started playing Darrin, everyone in the audience knew who Darrin was and had their own expectations for the character, which Dick Sargent had to satisfy. It’s not surprising that he didn’t do as well with the role as the guy who originated it.

@I agree. Regardless of all the arguments for “it’s my body my choice” and so on, at the end of the day, it is wrong to kill human life or any life. It’s not about feminism. It’s a humanitarian issue. People these days want what they want out of thinking it’s all about them. Everyone thinks they have a right to do whatever hey want as long as they’re happy or not inconvenienced. But it’s not about “the woman.” It’s about “the child” and human life. End of story. Say whatever you want, but the truth is the truth. No amount of feminism or arguing will change that fundamental commandment and law and change what is false into a “truth.” You cannot make false things true. Abortion being acceptable in various circumstances is also a philosophical falsity and wrong. No arguing to the contrary; no matter how clever or ingenious - will change it to being true.

Don't give up. Just don't settle. Remember this is 1965. There's no internet, there's no texting there's no cell phone there's barely TV,& they hadn't been on the moon yet! Generation or two before the women couldn't even vote so yes the husbands worked the wife stayed home and that's how it was. Things change. We are in the area where we don't need a man. I was just widowed this year and lost my dad the same day.. my mom and dad met in 6th grade in 1960 and we're married 56 years. My husband and I had a good run, until he just wasn't himself anymore he got physically mentally emotionally unwell and that's all I'll say about that. But they look died on the same day. They were Polar Opposites and the way they took care of their family. My husband was a gentle,kind, forme military guy..grate dad( I was in ICU RN I work night shift weekends, so we did not need daycare. We worked as a team. I was still the PTA mom Girl Scout mom team mom room mom blah blah blah during the week. It worked out for us even though I was exhausted 24/7.) Then his mom died. And midlife crisis hit. And then covid hit. And then he met an 'uncle Morgan'that he had never really ever song before. ;-). Needless to say I lost my dad and my husband on the same day. Don't settle. I firmly believe I was meant to be my daughter's mother. Maybe I wasn't meant to be his wife forever, but I did love him for the 27 years we were together, and I forgive him. We only get one father so I tried very hard to save his life, and with that kind of losing my own.😮😮. My point is, if you feel it you will know. Just saying at 6 weeks old woman a child a teenager that was raped, no longer has a choice. But the father can walk away and never be involved again half his DNA half hers. Before we bought our seats or our tickets. We use the newspaper. Lol. The entitlement an instant gratification of the younger Generations today blows my mind. just saying. It was very difficult to raise two young ladies to be strong but not b*tch**, to feel beautiful, without being a size zero or a triple D. To be smart but not a nerd, to be athletic but not un girly,... They are kind, they are polite, they have manners, they are humble, they're athletic,yet,one was a captain of 🏀 team and one was the captain of the cheer🎀📣 squad, they both🩰 danced,🏈 payed flag football, did tack,were Peer counselors, both pimped girl🍪 scout cookies for😂 12 yrs. they are a good mix of what a female should be. Or, what any human should be. Gota kept them BUSY. WE js payed outside, played, built gors,dance from te hose( now they put bottled water inside a $50 Stanley cup. There r still good guys out there! Don't do online dating! You may find one in the grocery store, library, gym, a concert, restaurant, walking down a street, thru friends etc. etc. I was with 5 abusive men & my problem was ...I didn't leave them on the 1st. few different times They had Ann over-agressive voice, or telling me what to do etc.! I didn't stop having contact with them on these different reason: when I was lonely or wanted someone to do something with or just wanted to talk. I should have wrote them all off!!! I met a man 12 yrs younger than me from another province ...I gave up on the mens in my province! I lived with him for 10yrs to see how a marriage would go. I've been married for 27yrs & have been with him all for 37yrs. I'm very happily married. A very giving kind man as I'm disabled now n he looks after me. I have 2 grandsons in their 20's n they have been raised to treat women with respect always n they've been taught that if an argument has gone on for 10min to walk away! I also take note what horiscope sign they are! ...hopefully you take mine n everyone's advice to heart n go with it! You hv a bright future cuz u will meet someone that will come into your life ...ur life of good things is not over yet ... friend! Hv a better day than the day before ...ok!👍😉😊

I'm beginning to think that those rabbits in the video are from a real animated series, though I'm not sure what it's title is. Was it a PBS show? I'm just so curious about their appearance. Also, I noticed the name Stu Philips at 0:03. Not only did he provide music from Screen Gems TV shows like "Donna Reed", he ran Colpix Records for awhile in the early 1960's (1960-1963, to be exact.) He was responsible for signing a interracial doo-wop group like The Marcels for the hits "Blue Moon" and "Heartaches" to Colpix (The Marcels had two white members and three black members when they hit with these songs, though by 1964 the entire lineup were entirely black members.) He had a hand in those seven Hanna-Barbera children's albums with Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, etc. and assembled the Dennis The Menace and Mr. Ed TV soundtrack albums ("Mr. Ed's" had some assistance from Filmways Productions, which Screen Gems helped out at times. "Hawk", for instance was a Screen Gems Production, but was filmed at Filmways Television Studio.) Finally, in 1964, after turning Colpix Records over to Lester Sill, whom Don Kirshner hired when he was musical consultant for Screen Gems Music Publishing, Inc. to run until 1966, Stu Philips provided music for The Hollyridge Strings first four albums on Capitol Records, including The Beatles and Beach Boys Songbook albums. Stu did keep on working for Screen Gems, though. He later provided background music for the TV shows "The Monkees" and "Iron Horse" in 1966. A very multi-talented man, indeed.

Never mind. I found out upon looking at some of your videos that those mysterious rabbits are from a Canadian Treehouse TV show, not PBS or "The Loud House" from Nickelodeon/Paramount. Problem solved at last. I'm going to check out this show some more. I never seen it or heard of it before, and now I'm curious. Thanks for being patient with me struggling for nearly two weeks trying to figure those rabbits out, Jayden K. Keep up finding more rare Screen Gems stuff. I've been a Screen Gems TV fan since my childhood.
