Welcome back! Join me in a cozy weekend of eating and dining with friends. We start off at Grand Hot Pot with Patty and Stephen for an AYCE dinner. It's down in Pacifica, and super worth the price. I even changed my jeans into joggers just for that night of AYCE. The next day, I needed a cleanse and decided to try making ginger shots for the first time. I made it with some orange, ginger, and lemon. It was heavy on the orange, but I'd still call it a success -- tasted healthy to me. We took them in regular shot glasses since we had no wellness glasses around. Alex prepared some heirloom tomato salad for me with a giant ball of burrata cheese. It was delicious, but definitely couldn't say it was healthy :D Later on, we hung out with a few Anaelle and Alex over wonton making. It was a perfect night and they even brought over home-made mochi! It was a light and perfect dessert. The next day, we started off with some berry smoothies, but sadly I spilled mine. Oh well..It was a long day, so I just filmed what we ate for dinner. I made kabocha squash soup for the first time with a Vietnamese recipe I found on Tik Tok. It was flavorful and satisfying on a cold night. I'd definitely make this dish again since it was pretty easy! Hope you enjoy the video, and lmk what you make!
