This will have detrimental effects in specific, but not all sections of the government if this ever came to fruition. The DOC is a big area where the communities will suffer (safety wise). Many people working remote for departments in the main office of Madison live throughout the state. They won’t suddenly commute or move knowing the pay is low. Probation Officers r another aspect. their starting pay right now I believe is $23/hr. Many commute an hr and get just 1 remote day a week (2 if there’s a family emergency). Many of those officers will quit, go to the prison (for a substantial pay raise), etc. I know many conservatives that work for the state and it’s sad to see Voss pushing this and alienating conservative voters/workers.

The Democratic Party should be criminally charged with attempting to impersonate an effective political party.
