Here’s a detailed account of the issues I’ve faced: 1. Malfunctioning Issues Within just few months of purchase, the e-scooter has developed multiple serious malfunctions. The issues began with the electrical system, which has become increasingly unreliable. At first, it was just a minor glitch, but it quickly escalated to a point where I can’t trust the scooter for daily use. 2. Switches and Controls The switches, which initially worked well, have started to fail. The ignition switch occasionally doesn’t respond, forcing me to repeatedly turn it on and off. This is not only frustrating but also potentially dangerous when I need to start the scooter quickly. The design seems flimsy, and it feels like they cut corners on quality. 3. Meter Problems The meter is another issue. The display often malfunctions, showing inaccurate readings for speed and battery life. At times, it shows that the battery is full when it's nearly empty, leaving me stranded. The inconsistency of these readings undermines the purpose of having an electric scooter, which is to provide reliable performance. 4. Horn Malfunction The horn, which is crucial for safety, has also failed. Initially, it worked fine, but now it only produces a faint sound or doesn’t work at all. This is a significant concern, as being heard by pedestrians and other vehicles is vital for safe riding. 5. Charger Issues The charger is another problem area. It started showing issues within the first year; sometimes, it wouldn't connect properly, causing delays in charging. Now, it frequently fails to charge the scooter altogether, leaving me with a useless vehicle when I need it most. 6. Service Center Experience My experience with the service center has been the most frustrating part of this whole ordeal. I took my e-scooter in multiple times, hoping for a resolution, but they seem either incompetent or uninterested in addressing the problems. Each visit resulted in vague reassurances and promises of repairs that never truly fixed the issues. They often returned the scooter with the same problems or even new ones, suggesting a lack of proper troubleshooting or expertise. 7. Overall Value Considering the price I paid, I expected a reliable and well-functioning product. Instead, I feel cheated and frustrated. The quality of the e-scooter is not reflective of its cost, and the poor support from the service center only exacerbates the situation. Conclusion I cannot recommend the BGauss e-scooter to anyone. The multitude of defects and the inadequate service center experience have left me disillusioned. If you’re considering purchasing this scooter, I suggest looking elsewhere to avoid the hassle and disappointment I’ve encountered. It’s a shame, as the concept of an e-scooter is fantastic, but this particular model has proven to be a major letdown.
