Another totally wonderful dog dumped out in the country. Cordellia can sit and shake, and she is totally housetrained. She is well-behaved in the house and we no longer crate her at night.

We saved Wynonna from the pound. We thought she was a hound/cattle dog mix but image recognition says she is an English Coonhound. There is no doubt that she is a hound.

My boy Keegan is a Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler smart as a whip waits at the door when he has to go to the bathroom outside good walker doesn't complain about bath and licks love people and other dogs very good boy love him
I adopted a Labrador mix 10 years ago. The adoption group fooled me big time. The paperwork said he was 10 months old and 23 pounds. I didn't want a big dog and thought he wouldn't get any bigger. So I adopted him. When I took him in for his first veterinarian visit, the vet said, "He still has his 'baby' teeth. He isn't even three months old!" By this time I was attached to him and didn't want to get rid of him Yep, they fooled me good. He eventually grew to 88 pounds. A few months ago he suddenly developed severe neurological issues and became paralyzed from the the neck down. There was nothing the vet could do. I held him in my arms and told him what a good dog he was as he passed on. I miss my Baxter every day.

@@Kwharshsingh - Thank you so much for your comment. Update: I went to a local no-kill shelter last week and adopted a Lab mix. He is a year old and about 1/2 the size of Baxter at 46 lbs (21 kg). I named him Riley and he is a very crazy, high energy pup. He is quickly becoming my "buddy". He now has claimed the big, soft doggie bed that Baxter once enjoyed. He already has his shots, has been neutered and been ID chipped. I will take him in for his first medical check this weekend. My veterinarian had BETTER NOT tell me he's 3 months old!!
I adopted a free lab not knowing what I was getting into 😂. She is the real life Marley and Me type of hyper dog. She ran out and through the front screen door with the blinds around her neck 🤣. She is 75lbs of lovable insanity!
