The goblin races (with the exception of the Dekanter goblins, they were created from goblin stock) are NOT native to Toril (The world where DND takes place, and where you'll find the sword coast). Creations that imprisoned him, threatened his grove, killed some of the adventuring party he was with and likely tried to interrogate him for information. Why wouldn't he defend himself when his home is in danger? Would you not expect a mother bear to defend her cubs? Or leader of a pride of lions to defend his pride when it's attacked? As for Khaga, she was going to kill a child for stealing an idol that was being used to perform a ritual that would put the tieflings back on the road and in danger with the goblins. Her theft wasn't out of malice or greed. It was out of fear. Her punishment did not meet the crime she had committed, in the same way that someone caught speeding isn't sent to life in prison.

im sorry but malenia is nothing compared to radahn youre just approaching malenia wrong. you can stunlock her pretty well and waterfowl is quite easy to dodge once you know how.

I spent at least 2-3 hours trying to find my way to Bonny Village and the area under Shadow Keep, a friend helped me out in the end but still it's pretty dumb. Literally going in circles around the edges trying to find the sweet spot to drop down

Radhan took me longer than Malenia, but I agree so much on the part of having mastered every move by her and still getting destroyed by whenever she just randomly used Waterfowl Dance. If it not were for that attack I would enjoy that fight so much more. The only attacks for which I considered a nerf was necessary from Radhan were the cross slash and maybe the clone attack in 2nd phase, however none of them were as WD in the sense that you could have your full healthbar and still die instantly for being just in the wrong place and everything resets. You could be sloppy with those and still survive, with WD the only *Intuitive* way to survive the first flurry was to be far away, if you were close it was certain death. I know there are like 17 ways to dodge it now, but I mean on a first playthrough just trying the classic dodge/roll/no shield/no items approach. It baffles me how Radhan was nerfed after 2 months and WD remains intact 🤣 TLDR: Fuck Waterfowl Dance

Wasn't the idea of "all players vs game" in Elden Ring from the start. You are not supposed to find all secrets by your own. Some dude from around the globe finds a secret passage, leaves a message for eveyone.

Fragment update changed this, now you only need 12. Exploration and map design was incredible. You’re not literally supposed to find every little thing on your first playthru. These games aren’t supposed to be played with fetralife opened on a separate tab. It’s completely reasonable to only need 12 now the extra 8 will still help just not as much as the first 12.

Yeah radahn is way more consistent than malenia. It took me way longer to no hit malenia than radahn.

valid take, i remamber walking around the map for 2 hours trying to get into the abyssal forest before looking it up, and having to look up how to get into the 2nd ruins of the fingers

I think the exploration is a pretty valid take, especially if you want to play through the dlc again since you have to go through everything to get the fragments. however I dont think you need all fragments for radahn, personally in my first run i beat him at fragment level 16 and in reruns I usually have around fragment level 12 and it still feels pretty good. I think the issue of exploration mainly stems from feeling like you have to explore everything for the fragments and that there isnt extra fragments in the way that the base game had extra golden seeds.

if you mean that there's a big level jump if you miss one of the missable areas that's actually a good point. the missable areas being extremely hidden isn't new or a problem IMHO, in the base game half of the secret haligtree medallion is literally on some random guy that's transformed into a pot in a village. I'm pretty sure there's 1 or 2 underground areas hidden behind 2 layers of fake walls too.

Kindof a controversial take imo, but I can't say it doesn't make sense. I wanna try and get through the DLC again in NG+ with a clear mind to see if people's points of critique are realistic

Ahti is extremely powerful, I guess his powers are divine. I still have the chills when he was approaching at me at the foundation while producing nature ilusions. It's like virgo no Shaka reference: It gave me feelings of some superior and ultimate power, but very peaceful too (Even tough I was terryfied and felt like an insect next to him).

you can't translate Perkele. It's not often used in finnish language anymore as it's such a powerful word (some might even say curse word). It's used when everything is fucked, sucked and completely against you. Then you say Perkele! and towards to new mistakes...

I have played the 6 missions. I have also played every rts blizz game on launch (except the first warcraft - Orcs and Humans). I liked the missions for early access. But in the story side + char dev is garbage. It would be better to have the 4-6 in coop and only have the first 3 in campaign. It is very bad writing and bad characthers. You just dont care about any. I had a big conversation in their discord with other players and we realize the story would have been so much better if they had made more missions and showed more the characthers. The first campaign should be about the invasion, not 20 years after

I agree with a lot of points in your video! I personally love New Vegas and it's sad to see some comments just blindly attacking you just because you pointed some of the flaws in the game. It's baffling that you pretty much need to download a ton shit of mods just to be able to avoid crashes and have a stable bug-free experience, the fact that Obsidian had 18 minutes to make the game dont take away our right to point the game's flaws and recognize that it's not perfect! I love new vegas, but i dont see why people are complaining about this take, New Vegas' gameplay is very bad, the guns and melee dont feel good, movement isnt great, combat is kind of boring, the thing whicb made New Vegas be this titan wasnt the gameplay.

I never saw so much crying about a game just because of some minor things. if you dont like the game fine. But most things you cryed about where just normal back in the day and Fallout 3 was no better in fact most old games had the same issue so do us a favor and keep your thoughts for yourself.

New Vegas is a meta-game about The Courier surviving in the Mojave and the player surviving the bugs and incomplete game design... My favorite game unfinished game alongside MGSV TPP

The reason people love new Vegas so much, is because it has tons of mods that improve gameplay and add a lot of content. My favorite mod is tale of two wastelands because then you can play fallout 3 with new Vegas mechanics with mods that improve the game. The base game is actually pretty good by itself, and the combat does take some getting used to, I won’t lie. But you have the privilege of playing on pc, so any issue you have, there’s a mod for it. Stevie’s tweaks is another good mod, let’s you choose a lot of settings like movement increased based on agility, intelligence multiplying how many skill points you get, not getting banned from casinos, stuff like that. Some people enjoy the vanilla experience, and they have that right. But we all know the game is damn near perfect with mods. The more you play new Vegas, the more fun you’ll have. Different character builds, different choices, you’ll know where most good stuff is, I’d say stick with it, but if it’s not your game, it’s not your game.

I do agree the gameplay can be shit. As much as an official patch could help, it might ruin the fun if they fix some glitches. And might censor some stuff.

You know there are bunch of perks that increase your movement speed, right? Travel Light gives you 10% movement speed (while wearing light armor) and Atomic! gives you 25% as long as you are actively beeing irradiated (or eating coyote meat that gives you same effect). You can farm for it quite easily. There are also couple of sneak speed increase things depending on your build, or rad child to synthesize with high radiation. Also press capslook/shift in case you are walking instead of running, and check if you are not over the weight limit. Also you know there are special moves right? Explosive ammo, making enemies fly away and explode from punching them, bunch of learnable special melee moves, most melee weapons have special attacks, there are sneak attack mechanics and you can chop off limbs... With the right build you can fix most of your complaints. Bugs do suck tho. You can stop a lot of crashes by purging the cache buffer (type pcb in console) and saving often. Its bad, but its not like Fallout 3 where its legit unplayable sometimes, but it is major reason to deduct points where its been like 3 expansion packs and they still haven't figured out memory management.

I cant tell if you dont really care for fallout or if you hate it.

Fallout 1 and 2 are true games - being made by the series creator, 4 has better combat and not as linear from the start. New Vegas is just a religion, or a creditability point for people on the internet - If they just made this series from 3 onward as a 3rd person RPG similar to Resistant Evil, you wouldn't have these issues that having a Frist person perspective will have. The first person perspective is what will always hold it back - GTA: V added First person and made it what a first person game should be - although the online combat will always favor First person as your faster because of it.

Now let me say New Vegas is one of if not my favorite game of all time (seriously, i don't quite mind the jank at all) but half of this comment section just proves New Vegas fans cant towards their precious perfect game. Yeah, Obsidian made the game, but Bethesda made most of almost all the gameplay, so calling NV a Bethesda game is pretty reasonable. Secondly, yes Obsidian had a year to work on this game, but thats what they agreed on. Obsidian agreed to have a year for development because it meant they'd get paid faster. Rushed development isnt an excuse if its the developer's fault.

a lot of these critiques make sense. I grew up on bethesda titles and they are definitely not great games in regards to all of these factors. new vegas is still my personal top 10 games of all time, that doesn't mean that bethesda games arent what they are. new vegas is essentially a fo3 asset flip which was building upon oblivion's systems which were also out of date back in 2006. it doesnt take away from my love for these games to hear somebody say all the things they dislike about it. much of this i also dislike but i've played these games and have modded them to hell and back to the point where a lot of these problems are significantly less present in my mind now. *my* curated mod list that updates a lot of the nonsense that is in new vegas still has some of these issues in them baked in. there are problems with these games
