    Further, the massive missionary success of the Catholic Church in India, S. America, and Japan further disproves your point that everything must be done in an Americanist, decentralized, Modernist, and decentralized mode.

    A lot of your anti-Catholic biases in this video are complete nonsense. The Irish and Northumbrian Celts accepted the pope, and St. Patrick was ethnically Italian. Further, the Catholic Church respected and build up the various European people groups, while the parts of the Mass said by the priest were uniform. However, the hymns were often in the vernacular, and details of worship varied between regions.

    • @rjwl55
      @rjwl55 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not intend to sound anti-Catholic as God saw fit to spread faith through them for a thousand years or more, with their heyday of pre-modern global outreach being during the first 200 years of the post-Reformation period when Protestant churches were sending virtually no international witnesses. Both groups had a tendency to oppose translations into the vernacular of the scriptures, with a few notable exceptions, and some famous translators into English, like Wm. Tyndale, were burned at the stake by Protestants. The Celtic christian movement (not so organized as the Latin one) and their outreach didn't officially accept Roman Christianity's authority until the Synod of Whitby, some 200 years after the time of St Patrick, who may have been of Roman descent but grew up in England and Ireland.

    Jesus is more than being a Noble Man. He is the only Way to God and in heaven. Jesus is the only Man or Prophet who die for the whole World. Christ Jesus didn't only die, but he also resurrected. All the great people and Prophets die and remains in their graves upto now. I am sincerely calling upon everyone, be yea a Muslim, Hidu, Buddhist, and Pagan to please Change their set of beliefs to allow Him, Jesus in their minds. If I looked at Jesus just as a noble man, it is a great error on my part. Whoever think like this definatly missing the purpose of life.

    No matter how long, how many Countries ones might travel's, the remaining task is the very person that you didn't reached. The 10billions are yet to be reached. How to know you are called to Mission? People know they are called when fell the burden of souls on your hearts. When you have love for those who have not yet believed. Everybody is called for mission, but some are called for specific mission's. Some might be called as Doctor, givers who support the goers as well others called to preach and teach. Pastor John Piper on the Mission call, Evangelism and mission. Thank you very much. Call everyone to go. The remaining task cannot be fulfilled by few, or certain group of people.

    • @Ms300705

      @parijatha, you must have a wrong concept of Christianity. The Gospel of Jesus is the power of God that bring salvation to everyone who believes. Jesus Christ didn't start a religion but He is preaching a reconciliatory message of God the Creator to His creation who has been separated from Him because of sin. He wants you to be reconciled to Him because He loves you. You cannot save yourself from the power of sin and death. Jesus has already paid the penalty for our sin on the cross so that we can be set free from the power of sin and be reconciled back to God. NO more sacrifices to be made to be saved. It is already paid. People should know that their sins are already paid on the cross. All they have to do is believe and receive Jesus into their heart that Jesus died for our sin and rose again to give us new life. It is ordained for man to die once and after that judgment. It is this eternal judgment or damnation that Jesus eternally saved us from. For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten son that whoever believes on Him will not perish but have eternal Life. God bless you.

    I love the emphasis on going to the most needy places! That's why I serve in Europe. Interestingly, this video suggests such a minor difference between 'followers of Jesus' and 'other Christians' that it looks like Europe doesn't have much need at all. But I would urge us to think more about access to the gospel than access to the name of Jesus. Millions and millions of souls hang eternally on the difference between the two. You see, the 'other Christians' in Europe remain under God's wrath. They might believe somewhat like this video suggests, that we 'followers of Jesus' just have a 'deeper faith', and sadly, they're often happy just to admire us for that. That is exactly the urgency we face here in Europe. The line between 'follower of Jesus' and 'other Christian' or 'nominal Christian' has been blurred to a mere scale of degree. But the Bible says the line between saving faith and nominal faith is "a great chasm" (Luke 16), on opposite sides there are slaves to sin and slaves to righteousness (Romans 6), children of wrath and children of God (Ephesians 1 and 1 John 3), those born only of the flesh and those born of the Spirit (John 1), a lake of fire and a holy city (Revelation 21), life and death (John 5), darkness and marvelous light (1 Peter 2). This video makes it seem easy to "renew the faith of other Christians", but I assure you, it is not easy to convert someone who thinks they're a Christian. And those "other Christians" are definitely not sharing the saving gospel with "culturally-near non-believers". We can find spiritual need everywhere, to be sure. But I'm not merely saying that Europe has deep need or that there's room for work. I'm saying the continent as a whole has far, far less exposure to the saving message of Jesus than the video suggests, and that this false scale of 'deeper faith' is exactly what keeps Europeans from eternal life. I'm not content with the false assurance of a false gospel being proclaimed here in Europe, and neither are the other 270+ Pioneers missionaries who serve here. We see glimpses of the great chasm every day as we interact with 'other Christians' who are not Christians at all. So to answer the question, where should you go if you want somewhere with the "fewest Christ followers", Europe is a great option.
