My effort would have been appreciably subtler, though that is a matter of taste, and therefore would not reflect upon your choice. I must expect that the airbrushing had required an entire day’s labour!

Did you dilute your ammo mig paints with thinner before air brushing? If so, what was roughly the ratio? because I noticed the paint was coming out smoothly apparently on low pressure and acrylics they tend to dry on the tip and cause issues. Thanks in advance

Nice job. But one thing you may made mistake which for the Japan national make never have any scratches. Because those mistakes which means dishonour their Emperor. Punishment would be kill themselves.

Building the N1K2-J Shindenkai in 1/32 scale is such a meticulous process, and your attention to detail is impressive! Watching the model come together piece by piece is incredibly satisfying. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Great job, Tulpar. I built the mine as 17972 also. It is posed in flight with l.e.d.s for cockpit and engine exhaust and a video is on my channel. The kit engines are well designed and molded. The fit/finish and detail of the aircraft is not as good as most of us hoped for. It takes a skilled modeller to correct the problems that a novice would have trouble with.
