Love the Canadian content , thank you kindly.
Funny. I watched it last night knowing absolutely nothing about it prior. The prologue gave me goose bumps. I thought long legs was a creepy old lady that had no business knowing it was that kids birthday. I didn’t know it was Nick Cage. I rated it a 4/5 cuz it creeped me out like no other but I felt there was something missing or off. So I watched a couple TH-cam videos that explained it and as it turns out, I was the one missing something. Context. After watching reviews and having mom spoon feed me certain aspects that didn’t make sense to me, I tacked a half star on to it leaving it a 4.5/5. I don’t particularly like Nick Cage as an actor and not knowing it was him made me LOVE him as an actor. And to top it off, it lead me to discover your channel which I will be subscribing to and binging your content post haste!
@@kristopherthomas7166 It definitely has that creep factor, doesn’t it?! I’ve found so many people either love or hate Nick Cage- so interesting. Aww I’m so glad you found my channel! 🖤

BEETLEJUICE! BEETLEJUICE! BEETLEJUICE! (Beetlejuice III) Where Michael Keaton's Beetlejuice Actually Tries To Evolve (Not Change) From Bad Guy To Hero. "there is poetry in this film..".. perfect 🖤
Love your review
U look greaat😍😍
Everyone who watched SpongeBob remembers him. I think without that episode, Nosferatu would be almost lost to time. I mean next to nobody under 30 would know what it is.
I loved your review and the way you described everything. I also really loved your point on the mustache and costume on Orlok humanizing him. I think you're the first reviewer I've heard point that out so far. It makes perfect sense. I'm so excited for this one, can't wait to get a physical copy as well.
@@lyndsaylou09 Aww thank you!!! I appreciate your comment so much. I hope you enjoy this masterful film as much as I did. 🖤🖤🖤
@HorrorBabeShow you're welcome. I can't wait.
Would have been nice to have a spoiler warning for the small criticism part. I'm guessing the part in the movie is supposed to be subverting your expectation a little bit. Knowing what to expect now is a bit disappointing.
Typically I label my segments so as not to surprise my viewers, but I feel I was a bit lax on this particular segment. I have added that this segment contains a "SPOILER" even if I don't say it verbally. Thank you for pointing this out to me.
As stated by Eggers himself, is that the look of Orlock is basically supposed to be a dead Transylvanian nobleman. He's a rotting corpse. That makes him more diabolical.
Werner Herzog's version EATS this movie.
@@ColeSlaw-rg1gd 👍🏼
They're both very different from each other and both are amazing.
I have heard it suggested that the moustache is a nod to Vlad Tepes, the impaler, who, it has been also suggested, was a sort of "role model" for Dracula.

@HorrorBabeShow i agree. You are absolutely stunning 😍🎉❤
Sounds like some homages to Murnau's take on Faust made their way into this film.
To me, the original Nosferatu has One chilling moment, and that is when the title character emerges from the boat's deck.
I love Eggers directing style, and I'm noticing he really loves period pieces lol! :D
@@SunnyLovetts Yeah, same!! I wonder what he’ll do next… 👀🖤

Spoiler: I think the final kill of the aunt and the glass tube + rats was one of the most gruesome in the series. Before I watched the movie all I heard was the shower scene and while that was very gory, I think the rat scene needs to be talked about more, probably the most underrated kill.
