@AMTRAKFan1991 I was out there today and yesterday but since FRA officials were out on the UP Pine Bluff Subdivision Mainline between CP CB466 West Omaha to CP CB491 UP/CPKC interlocker diamond in Pittsburg Texas doing a lot of track inspections. I have railroad communications with me all the time and lots of friends that work in the railroad industry around northeast Texas Region

@@SilverThunder710There is no justification to run one on the City of New Orleans but not this train. City has lower ridership, lower revenue, is a much shorter journey and is the least scenic long distance route in the entire network! Even so that brings no comfort to customers along the Eagle getting a message from Amtrak’s board that their train is not worth the same experience that all the other trains have!This just proves little Amtrak’s management desires to operate the Eagle. At least five Sightseer Lounges stored during the pandemic have been reactivated! Four more damaged in accidents are being brought back with two having already been completed! So they have plenty of them given that only four are needed for the Eagle. The problem is Amtrak’s board. They promised to bring it back three years ago and have slowly been reactivating them. Forcing passengers to sit in their seats for the entire ride on a train journey over 30 hours long is ridiculous and shouldn’t even be considered acceptable! It’s absolutely disgusting that they took it off to begin with!

@@RonStandridge-u3c It Does Run East And West. However The Only Trains That Runs East Are The Local Out Of My. Pleasant, TX And Occasional Grain Train. The Only Other Time Is If There's A Major Malfunction On The Other Line Running From Texarkana, Out Through Longview And ETC.

I've Just Been Catching It In Omaha, TX Because It's The Same One, And It's Had SD70m's On It For Some Time Now. Not That There's Anything Wrong With That, However I'd Like To See It Switched Up With Some Older Power From Time To Time.

Just Uploaded The Local Coming Back Through Omaha, TX And I'll Be Darn If There Wasn't Older Power Leading!!!! Yay!!!!

It's Just Inside The Morris County Line Right Before You Get To Titus County. Mailing Addresses Are Omaha, So That's What I Label It.
