GGW Pitch Bootcamp #4: Master Your Pitch
GGW Pitch Bootcamp is the gift that keeps on giving-a chance to receive expert feedback.
The goal of GGW Pitch Bootcamp is simple:
🎁 Help you fine-tune your pitch by highlighting strengths and opportunities.
🎁 Prepare you for real-world investor meetings with direct, expert feedback.
🎁 Boost your confidence so you can present with clarity and precision to investors.
This is not a pitch competition-it’s a hands-on workshop where founders received real-time feedback from Brian Hsu, Startup Advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck, Former eBay and Lyft Executive, and Davide Dantonio, Program Manager gBETA at gener8tor, Startup Growth & Fundraising Advisor.

    Hello, i live in nevada my llc is registered in nevada but 95% of the work is in california so when i do taxes i pay california taxes, what could you suggest? Should close my llc in nevada and open a new one in CA? Or open a foreign llc in CA and pay taxes in both states but i am not working that much in NV only like $5,000 a year in NV, i would appreciate your help of what i should do thank you!

      Since you are a Nevada resident, your LLC has a nexus in Nevada too. We recommend obtaining a foreign qualification in California. Clarification question: if I want a Wyoming Holding LLC to manage a subsidiary LLC, do I have to set up my subsidiary as MEMBER-managed (by the holding LLC)? or can it be MANAGER-managed (by the Wyoming Holding LLC)? Assuming both LLCs are single-member, would there an advantage to either option? Thanks.

    • @GoGlobalWorld

      Yes, it looks like you are the main decision-maker in the company therefore your corporation has a physical presence in California. • @GoGlobalWorld
      @GoGlobalWorld ปีที่แล้ว

      Your first $800 franchise tax is due on the 15th day of the 4th month after registration of your entity. For example, if you formed your LLC on March 10 2023 - your first $800 payment will be due on July 15th In subsequent years it is due on April 15th. You must pay it separately on the Franchise tax board’s website or have your tax preparer make a payment for you

    My top tip for pitching entrepreneurs: more is less. If you want to keep people's attention, keep your answers short and to the point - quality over quantity. Your audience will switch off the moment you start to meander around, and all your words come to nought. Another thing: Special thanks to entrepreneur Danielle for giving a masterclass in how not to pitch. Refusing to elaborate on your competitive advantage and snapping at investors is sure to go down like a symphony played by a tone-deaf orchestra. To the organizers I still say please find a way to moderate the judges. Some of the judges here hardly spoke. Just like in kindergarten there are two types of people: one that sit in the front row and raise their hand before the teacher even finishes the question, and the backbenches who like to mull over things before answering. Both deserve an opportunity to be heard. Also, it would be great for you give contact links & synopsis of the companies that were pitched, in case users want to engage with the products. Oh by the way, Jerome had to turn up & patronize the ladies!😆😆😆
