i'm rocking a 7600X the difference is crazy, time to buy the 9800X3D later this year.

One reason i said 4070 is a 1080p card because it cant handle 1440p in some game wo gimmicks like frame gen . 1080p 240hz its 60-90 fps for me. I think a 4070ti super is needed for 1440 for 60fps no gimmicks play

What program do you use to view fps and temperatures?

I have been researching a possible transition to AMD but after much research it seems that the solution is just to game at 4K. Any speed variance between processors goes out the window and it solely rest on the shoulders of the GPU. So, save yourself some money and apply it towards the video card instead of building out a brand-new rig.

Just got a 9600x for roughly the same price as a 7600x, has around 10% better performance, in 4k gaming, it’s nice to see it can handle a 4070ti super.

so... i'm not going to upgrade. Using a 4080s with ryzen 5600 to play in 4k. It doesn't make any sense pay almost another 4080s to gain only 10 fps.

For 4k they are almost the same. If your goal is only play in 4k. The 7600x is the right choice.

It's crazy that the 5600x matches or outperforms the 9600x in most of games at 4k with 25% of the power draw. Could that be a driver optimization issue? Either way, confirms for me that it's most definitely not worth upgrading to AM5 unless a 9600x3d comes out or I guess 10/11 series chips, maybe even AM6?

Another interesting comparison with a mid-range GPU I'm most concerned when one percent lows dip below 60FPS. A couple of games showed noticeably differences in smoothness at 1440p Are the Hellblade 1440p one percent lows accurate? Its weird that the 7600X was better than the 9800X3d. The 9800X3d had better one percent lows at 4k than 1440p Question: Some channels have recently noted a huge drop in one percent lows on AMD CPUs when GPU power monitoring for an NVidia GPU is used. Have you noticed anything like this?

I had money to buy 9800x3d but I bought 7600x for much cheaper. Did I make a mistake? I already have a 7800xt

It's clear that B580 is a winner here for 1440p gaming and future proofing with 12GB VRAM over 4060's 8GB. I am going to pick B580 as soon as is in stock!

Both decent for 1080p. You'll need an update this eventually since the B580 is using very early drivers, you can see from comparisons on here it's far ahead in one or two titles, although some may be vram limited on the 8GB 4060. With comparisons in 1080p the 4060 is often similar in performance to a 6650xt

Couldn't be happier with my 7500F. Excellent performance and only $130. Pairs nicely with a 7800XT. Gave it a Phantom Spirit 120 Dual Tower Cooler as well. Overkill, but man that CPU never even sees past 65c. Can't seem to get Ryzen Master to 'initialize' no matter what I try, however.

Bro make a video about gaming plus 1440p 60 live streaming on ARC B580 and on 4060 (Using NVENC) too from the single PC streaming setup, and see how much performance drops while gaming and live streaming together, that will show the real truth that whether we will miss NVENC, Because at some point someone will think of live streaming or at least recording their gameplay...

In Germany the price for the B580 is something between 312 and 350 Dollars and costs more than the 4060. Good GPU, but no big price advantage.
