Welcome to the TinShed Performance Channel. We are going to destroy some stuff, build better stuff, show you neat stuff, and we are going to have a riot doing it. Hope you enjoy the these videos because I know I enjoy making them. Who knows what the next video may be.
Went to Ubly with Troy's F85
We go to get some base line passes on an olds F85 to see what we could do to make it faster.

Late 70s ford love it
@@stephendavis7441 it’s a great truck and fun to drive. Felt like I went back in time when I took it for the shake down ride.
That's what I used 😂
@@669lmontecarlo I like your style
My mom had one of them suckers for the longest time I think it was like a lte model something like that, never had a problem with it ever.
Thse arcardias are a mess. Wouldn't touch it.
i would say the same.
If it doesn’t pan out I’ll see how many pine trees I can take out with it.
@@tinshedperformance8626 I'm sure someone will buy it, they run great.. when they're running, so just keep it that way and it'll get someone to buy it
Great looking 65 Olds! Since its an F85 is it running a stock 330ci small block or does it have a 400? Last time i was at Ubly it was a minibike race. My little orange bike ran 9.50s @ 69 in the 1/8th. Really love that track, its relaxing just being there.
It actually has a 350 olds in it. The car was a full on drag car back in the day. You can see where the cage use to be and inner fenders were cut out for big block headers. There is also a cut off switch on the back bumper. I believe they retired the car striped it of most of its good stuff. Then later put the 350 in it to sell it.
@@tinshedperformance8626 Love the car man! Im 55 years old and a life long Olds guy. My first car was a 1970 442, got it back in 1983...and i still have it! Right now the car is just a roller but i have Everything to put it back together. Its always been a street/strip car in my hands. Ive been a 455 guy since i was single digits old, thanks to Dad (rip). When the car does come back out after life settles down i have a 462 normally aspirated bullet Olds 455 that made 620hp/620tq with a single dominator on a victor. I have tons of engine stuff it y'all are looking for anything. In fact i have a pretty darn nice 455 on the stand that came from an old jet boat i used to have. Its got a spun #7/#8 rod bearing but was still running when i pulled it. Started knocking on the water and had to limp it back to the dock. Next day started right up on the garden hose at home. Pulled a valve cover just to find all the glitter inside, valvetrain all appears ok. I really need to thin down my collection and id like to sell that 455 if you are interested. It's just a guess till the pan comes off but #7/#8 rod journals are known to spin first. They are the last to get oil. Also ive learned you absolutely cannot run a standard car oil pan on any Olds in a jet boat. Boats are different than automotive when in motion and that 4 qt pan with one in the filter simply ain't enough oil especially when pinned at a constant 5500rpm against the jet. Not enough oul drainback to pan either with a stock Olds engine, which this one pretty much is. A friend put it together with fresh rings bearings and gaskets before i got the boat. He also used a pretty lumpy used hyd flat tappet camshaft I sold him while he threw it together. Sounded real good and ran excellent...until it didnt. If y'all were to buy the engine and the crank wouldn't turn .020 under then i have several core crankshafts id supply with the engine, if needed. Same with stock connecting rods. I have 12 Olds 455s just for parts, as in cores... engine blocks, various cyl heads, etc. if you wanna throw a 455 in that beautiful 65 F-85 then please get with me. I could help you get it done on a really low budget. Ive built counless Olds 455s over the years. Im on disability now so playing in the garage has almost come to a complete halt...for now at least. I hope to get back to it slowly here real soon. Im a retired mechanic and sure wish my body was able to go back to working because i actually miss wrenching big time. Anyway sorry for all the rambling. If i can help you out with some parts just let me know!
Sweet build, the fatboy rear fender may be my solution to fit a sadelman as well. Its dam hard to find parts and cool stuff for a 01 deuce lol.
Thank you! We have done more paint work since this video. I’ll have to do an update soon.
😂
Awesome 🤘🏻
Hey guys what bars are those you put on they look great! Thanks Mark
Not sure what they were. We got them used from bubba’s tri city cycle. It was one of them “when you see them you know they are perfect for the project”type things.
I took a crow to the chest at about 50 mph. A bit awkward for is both, but luckily neither of us were harmed.
be amazed if it hits lower than a 13.4
You are actually right on the money. Going to be tinkered with over winter.

@@tinshedperformance8626 I think it's the Moroccan gold pearl white. Very pretty color.
That would be sharp.

I am not paying Ken enough to run the cameras haha
The motor sounds pretty hot ❤ how much of it is original 88 ?
Not much of it. 124 cubic inches. 11.5:1 compression. Even has the bigger throttle body.
I’d like to see a burnout video. Beautiful bike!
That could be arranged.
th-cam.com/users/shortslksy6o-WsTw?feature=share just a peak of what the bike looked like before we started tinkering with it.
Cool
thats too bad..my wife could have used that windshield

Thank you! I will keep in coming.
My grandpas old house before he passed away and we sold it
I met your grandpa when I worked for the John Deere dealer. Delivered a new lawnmower to him. He was a good guy. And for like two years after I bought this place people were stopping by asking me if they could get parts for old phones. He knew a lot of people.
@@tinshedperformance8626 he did indeed know a lot of people I'm just sad I didn't get to hang with him like my brother did I miss going there every week to sit in the shed or walk in the patch of pine trees

Hahaha that's funny
Nice video aaron! Can't wait to see what hijinks that car arouses. I heard you say that it has the three cylinder motor. What is your opinion of that motor? I didn't know they came with a three cylinder option.
The three cylinder engine is aftermarket. Very rare.
Loved the vid man! Keep em coming.
More to come getting back into the swing of things
