Hello! I love this arrangement and bought the tabs. However, it doesn't match up with what you're playing here in this video. I'm still working on it, but specifically measure 23. Is there another version I could use?

Back in the day, we put your Boss pedals (most all the pedals sold were Boss then) side by side, then hit three of them at the same time by turning your foot sideways. Wall of sound example. Three Boss reverbs in a row. Hit them all with the side of your foot and BAM! I still see a few bands do that.

The problem is, everybody thinks you can build a pedalboard that will make every sound on every song ever recorded. And this simply can't be done.

I don’t need one. I don’t use that many pedals. Most I ever have to do is 3 taps to change. So far, I’m cool with that

Well, see, you're inventing your own success and dilemma. You've chosen to mix brands of pedals and with that comes dilemmas. So you've chosen to forget about having a straight through sound by putting the pedals into individual loops. You're not great. This isn't a great idea. Manufacturers do tune the straight through sound. That's a unique sound. That's why you buy into brands. You should have limited your buying behaviour and made sure you didn't get ripped off buying pedals you can't possibly use.

Yeah, so there's no such thing as the traditional pedal board thing. I'm looking at my pedals and I can see multiple ways to install the looping pedal and such things. The company does try to help us out by putting names on such things. I have a looping pedal but it clearly says it's intended purpose is for noise clamping. I've got to try to get it to do that function and not do another unintended function.

Yes, but there's TRADITIONAL pedals that get used in a traditional way. You shouldn't apply midi to traditional pedals. That's like using Elon Musk's jet engine to start your camp 🏕 fire 🔥 The audience isn't perfectionists. Neither are companies. Don't you, make the mistake. I'm buying MXR and MXR chooses not to have a pedal board switcher. You don't apply 1 to that system. You learn a traditional style. The traditional style allows you to plug into 10 amplifiers.

Contemplating should I do this or just get an od that cleans up nice

Oh my god. That has been sitting in my Watch Later playlist for over a year. That was one of the most beautiful performances I’ve ever listened to. Had tears in my eyes. I’m heading over to buy the tabs even though the odds of me playing even a fraction as well as you have is highly unlikely. I had to show my wife and she felt exactly the same way. Bravo 👏

Awesome video! Only question, If you hit a pedal that is plugged into the looper will it still activate and act like a normal straight through signal chain? Or do all pedals plugged into the looper have to be activated via looper?

Regarding the boss unit to answer your question why don't more people use them is because they want more than one pedal in a loop they might want three or four petals in each Loop, and it appears the boss is designed for individual pedals in the loop and it's a lot of money to spend to experiment to find out that's not what you want that's why
