did you consider the radio master MT 12?
@power21100 I did, but since I have the ma-030 that came with flysky receiver and I'm getting the mr-04 soon, so it would be easier to use the NB4. For the ease of use and features, the NB4+ at $217 can't be beat.

thanks for sharing! How were the spur gear and differential gears found after so many years....they were very worn out, do you plan to make a video running the car with that lipo and new variator? Is it easy to get gears for the car on eBay? greetings 😊😊
I haven't opened the inside yet, but I suspect the parts will crack once I run it for a while. The power definitely increased with the 3S LiPo, but the top speed is still limited. I believe it's the gearing, and it's not easy to find parts for something this old. Either the parts are really expensive or you can't find them at all. I just bought a new 3D printer so I can design and print my own parts. I'll be posting a test run soon since I'm busy restoring other cars I found in storage. Stay tuned, and thanks for watching! 🙂
😮😮😮😮 amazing big boss restoration, thanks for sharing
…absolutely rubbish…nothing moves enough…but still everything wobbles around…stay away…absolutely rubbish and going accordingly cheap on sale all around aliexpress…completely worthless…thrust my words…look at that diff with squarish theeth gears…it will eat your triangular gears in minutes…do…not…buy…this…garbage…it..is..a…SCAM!!!…
I agree; don't use any of their metal parts that are part of the powertrain. The swingarms are acceptable if you only drive on a smooth surface, as it reduces travel by at least 50%. I'm changing most of my metal parts back to stock plastic in the near future. They sure look good though but you'll be getting worse performance from it.😂
Good video man!
Thank you🙂
🤘🤘🤘
who did you get the door card from?
@skillard_automative
Kid and i would have a blast wkth that 😂😂
Yeah the kids loved it
I bet. I'll get one soon enough .

Right on👌 I think I’ll try it with one of the stronger Velcro’s. I’d almost like to go with the 1/4 mlv for a significant blocking but I know it’s hard to work with. Understand the whole concept and how to do it now tho👌 How come you didn’t try to hang it with Velcro long term?
I have a pretty tight tolerance with the roll cage. So with velcro, it would add another 1/4 or so on top of the headliner. It would get pinched by the roll cage and I don't think it would benefit that much. With all the layers of sound insulation, it added around 250lbs. If I install vinyl to the roof and door, then it would probably bring it close to 300. t That's gonna bring a lot of hate when others are trying to do weight reduction meanwhile I'm adding 300lbs just to have a more quiet car 🤣
@@TofuYoung69 sound quality>everything Sweet little Datsun I’m sure👌
Do you feel like sealing it with tape was enough? Thought you needed cement glue or hardcore Velcro at least?
If it's at the bottom, the weight is sufficient to prevent lifting. If it's on the side or hanging, you have to use double-sided tape or velcro.
Good to know! Have you done the roof or doors by chance? Wondering if I should just go with 1lb like yours
I used something like Kilmat for the roof and door, and it eliminated most of the metal echoing tin can sound. I tried using the 1lb vinyl in those areas, but it was just too heavy for long-term use. Since most noises come from the floor of the car so I just covered those areas, firewalls, and the trunk. I think I have a before and after sound video, but I have to look for it
Okay, I just uploaded the video so you can hear the difference. th-cam.com/users/shortstFOcm3PYw48?si=7kpEObSF9e-1dg3B
I used some pretty strong 3" wide doubled sided fabric tape underneath and used the aluminum tape just to seal the seams. If it's just with aluminum tape, the vinyl would lift since it's quite stiff for the 1lb one
Curious did you feel any difference with this rear end setup? Worth the money?
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😮😮
Considering buying this model, looks like a lot of work. Seems like you have to be very attentive / know what you're doing
It's pretty easy to use but you do have to be there to monitor the temperature. There are many tutorials online for this roaster so you'll get the hang of it
Hey JYoung, how did you avoid fog in your premium lens guard?
I usually keep the helmet on when I'm riding to avoid the temperature change. I also applied some car detailing products like spray-on ceramic coating and never had a problem with fog.

What's your riding style and what're you planning to improve on?
Literally one of the worst jobs you can do on a Z. If youre ever going to attempt this- Do like you see here, and get yourself some kind of spindle pin puller. Something that threads onto the pin- and can be wrenched on, pulling the pin out.
Love what you can do with this camera man! Sick turns
