I think needs to understand little more about Australian wages system, doesn't matter FT, PPT , casual or agency every ones wages /hourly rates are same according to the years experience. There will be a union agreement, which needs to followup. FT and PPT employees have access to much more benefits such as leave entitlements, however casual and agency get paid slightly high as they receive casual loadings then they don't have any leave entitlements. Some agency give extra few dollars separately to their staff, but not all agency give this, otherwise NSW health pays directly to all employees doesn't matter FT, PPT , casual or agency staff. Salary can be slightly different, when shift allowances or weekend or public holiday penalties add in to their salary. Australian tax systems is very simple, $18200 tax free for all Australian resident for tax purposes, all other income will be taxed according to certain tax brackets. Australian pension system is very complicated, please don't think the tax we pays now , it will be back as pension in our old ages. Center link will do an income test assessment, means aged care pension is not accessible to every Australians. Medical facilities government doesn't give free, we pays 2% Medicare leavy pays on our taxable income on top of our taxes. Also Medicare leavy surcharge apply to high income earns unless they have private health insurance. Sorry I am not pointing out you wrong, sometimes public thinks that people making so much money in Australia and this is not true however Australian life is far better than many other countries, i will say one of the best country in the world.
