Keto Thanksgiving Feast: Simple Recipes for a Stress-Free Holiday!
Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be stressful, expensive, or unhealthy! Today, I’m sharing a complete Thanksgiving meal that’s simple, affordable, and perfect for a keto or low-carb lifestyle. With easy recipes and step-by-step instructions, you’ll have everything you need to create a memorable holiday feast.
✅ Here’s What’s on the Menu:
🍗 Bacon-Wrapped Turkey Tenderloins
Turkey tenderloins or turkey breast
Marinade or brine (optional)
Thin-sliced bacon
Seasonings of your choice
Wrap your turkey in a bacon basket weave and cook in the air fryer at 400°F until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. For extra crispiness, broil or air fry in the last few minutes!
🥔 Creamy Mashed Cauliflower
1 bag (12 oz) frozen cauliflower
1 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp sour cream
2 tsp butter (or to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Steam the cauliflower, then blend with the other ingredients until smooth. Adjust salt to your preference-cauliflower needs a little extra!
🥦 Savory Green Beans
2 cans French-style green beans
½ tsp minced onion
Salt and coarse-cracked pepper
1 tsp butter or bacon grease
Combine all ingredients in a pan, simmer until tender, and enjoy a flavorful, easy side dish.
🍗 Keto-Friendly Brown Gravy
2 cups turkey or chicken broth
¼ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp xanthan gum (added slowly)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp bacon grease or butter
Simmer the broth and seasoning, then gradually add xanthan gum for a smooth, rich gravy.

2 oz cream cheese
1 tbsp pumpkin puree
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 egg

Are you satisfied with the thermometer? I've seen reviews that they're not quite accurate.
I suppose results can vary. I made that video eight months ago and I still love mine. I use it at least once or twice weekly in the air fryer, smoker, or grill. So to answer your question....yes I am very satisfied. I bought it with my own money and would buy it again. I always spot check with my thermo pop and they are within a degree or two of each other. 👍👍

what is the range of the bluetooth when the head unit reciever is in the house thanks
I honestly don't know. It has a good Bluetooth range outside but walls shorten that distance.

When its winter can you bring the reciever unit inside the house and still see the temperatures when you are in the house.How far can the reciever be away when in the house and the smoker outside thanks
The receiver needs to be fairly close to the probes. However, you can see all of the information on your phone from inside. The receiver can connect to your home Wi-Fi or to the phone's Bluetooth. I would suggest using the Wi-Fi if possible.

IMHO beans NEVER go in chili. I like classic Texas red chili which doesn’t have beans. The cocoa powder is a great touch and doesn’t make it taste like chocolate. Just another layer of flavor.

My mom used to make a wicked good chili con carne, which contains beans.

I just made this and I'm eating it as I type. My friend Paula Jean sent the link to me and I knew right away I wanted to make it. I used ingredients I had on hand. I used ground pork which was actually hot sausage that came from my own pigs. I don't know what the meat-fat ratio is. For fat to cook in I used lard that I rendered. Most everything I had already. I did go to the store to get some dill pickles and instead of the ketchup I used a chopped medium tomato that I grew. I didn't drain the meat, instead I added white button mushrooms and baby bella mushrooms medium chopped to absorb the fat. I used 4 cloves of chopped garlic. I doubled the eggs to make the dish a little more firm. I had some mozzarella balls on hand so I chopped them and I grated some cheddar. Like you, I like a lot of cheese so I added some shredded pizza blend that I have in the fridge. I used fresh ground pepper and ground Himalayan salt fresh from the grinder. I got ahead of myself while adding the topping, so I first left out the eggs. When I realized what I did I beat the eggs with extra cream to make them flow into the casserole better. I added maybe 3 or 4 tablespoons of oregano on the top. I put it in the preheated oven for 25 minutes then gave it 5 minutes more after I checked it. As soon as I put it in the oven I started to think of other ways I could make it next time. In a moment I'm going to post a couple pictures to my facebook page (account name "feliix") and include a link to this video. Thanks so much for creating this tasty dish and sharing it.

Pork chops.....blah, blah, blah.......pecans......blah, blah, blah......Let's get on to the GRAVY!!!!! I do enjoy a pecan crusted pan fried trout. THAT is delicious. I'm struggling with getting a good gravy. Cream cheese, no. Xanthum gum, I can't seem to get the hang of how much to use to thicken it and end up ruining it. Almond flour, this is a first. Does the gravy have a grainy texture? I wouldn't mind it, but my husband struggles with the texture of almond flour in my keto recipes, and he will not eat it.
@@thedogsmaid I have also struggled with different types of gravy. It didn’t turn out grainy but it took a good while to thicken up. I am going to try it again after I make some bacon. It is my favorite right now.

@@seniorgal2752 actually I patted them with paper towels. Recently I discovered that about half way through you can flip them on a cookie sheet to get rid of the excess moisture. I like the frying pan idea too👍

Something that helps is to forget the weight loss part of it and just focus on how you feel. The weight will come off if you can resist obsessing about that aspect.
I agree. The scale only tells part of the story.
I have found that some people try very hard to get you to break your diet. You just have to learn to ignore them.

There are many thinks I've learned since being on keto that I wish I'd known earlier in life, but some of this knowledge has only been discovered or verified by solid evidence in the last few decades. I wish I'd known that there are two systems in our body that create life energy: one that uses carbs and one that uses fats. I wish I'd known that coconut water is one of the best, natural foods for getting electrolytes. I wish I'd know that processed foods have added sugar, and other chemicals, and have insoluble plant fiber removed because these things prolong the shelf life of packaged foods. I wished I knew how much our government's guidelines on nutrition were created and influenced by the food industry, especially those tied to sugar, wheat, and corn production; and that producers of these receive government subsidies that lower costs on thing made with corn, wheat, and sugar. I wish I'd known how much the education about nutrition and about the advances in evidence-based nutritional knowledge, from doctors and healthcare professionals down to school children's lessons has been funded and limited by the corporations that provide our processed and packaged foods. That's a few things that come to mind.

Great question. Hope this helps. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the pickle balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
