Would Epoxy or Polyurethane be better for sealing laminate contact paper in a kitchen?
@@joannalochamy2462 i honestly don't know. This was just an experiment that went really well. I'm not professional and can't give recommendations. I'm sorry.
Thank you. I'm redoing my kitchen counters with laminate contact paper and have been researching to find out if I could use Epoxy Resin to give it a true marble finish
Beautiful 😻
@@ally203katt thank you
It looks great 🎉🎉
@@barryboswell323 thank you
Very nice!
Looks like hell
Omg I love that you can just sew along side the sides of this bonin I found some on Amazon imma try Tysm
This makes me so happy. You're welcome Queen
Yes
🥰❤️ that’s so cute
@@ajlova514 thank you!!
@@anjanellfashion ofc💓
Hello may i ask do you have a link for that boning?
I'm sorry, I didn't see this. This was purchased at my local JoAnn store
Where did you get lights also good job!!!
Amazon. But I do not recommend. The batteries die way too quickly and they take 4 batteries each!!!! Lol! I'm sure there are better options available
This is perfect, I am a bit of a novice/costume tailor and my girlfriend got a dress for $20 that doesn't quite fit and I want to use this option because I was looking for something with a good aesthetic, inexpensive and ideally reversible
Happy to help!! 🥰
Just subscribed. This is how I found you. I asked myself, "Could you put epoxy over countertop wallpaper?" And boom... there you and Marcus were. Is it still holding up okay? I know this is 3 years old, so I'm extremely curious because I wanna do this.
Hi, still holding up great!!
@@anjanellfashion // thank you for replying ♥️
There are still some imperfections in the epoxy. You would need a sander to smoothe it all out. Then buff. This was exactly what I want to do. Glad it turned out great
I love a good upcycle…fabulously done🎉❤
Thank you
Hi your dress form is it an older model you put a new cover on? I just purchased a vintage 1969 Bauman dress form. Looking to maker over/ spruce her up and pad her to my size. Any advice?
No, I'm sorry that's something I've never done
How has it held up over time? Can you put a warm pot on it?
Use vodka and dab it out
Pretty fabric ❤
Yes 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Supercute❤
Thank You
Which contact paper was used or does it matter sonce you are epoxing over it
She said in the very beginning around the 19 second time stamp that they used the EasyLiner White Marble and make sure it say Surfaces on it🤷🏽♀️
Thank you!! I was so excited to see one done with the integrated sink! Some of the comments are helpful too. Thank you for showing all the steps and methods you used.
How’s it going with the contact paper and epoxy? Had the paper lifted?
I FINALLY did this today (1/5/24) by following your instructions in this video. And I LOVE IT!!! Thank you SO much for making this tutorial!
OMGGGGG!!!!! This is everything!!! I'm so proud! Happy New Year! Enjoy!!!
Can we get a three year update?
Thank you so much! I want to redo my kitchenr countertops, and there is a peel and stick I like but I'm concerned about wear and tear since it's a high traffic area. This is what I was hoping for. Thank you for showing that it's possible 😊
I wish we had kits like Stone Coat where I live. :(
Is it still removable after coating in epoxy??
Excellent job! Beautiful job! Thank you for your integrated sink video. I like the unique circles! I have one too I want to do at home. I have been watching the other videos without one. This helps so much. Thank you again.
I was looking for this exact video!!! Thank you so much! Very helpful❤❤❤❤
My husband just suggested this as he uses epoxy resin for jewelry making. I am so glad I found someone who did it! How’s it holding up?? Looks beautiful!
Still looks great!!!
❤
I'd like to know how this has held up since you did it? we have been considering doing it also, we just laid the contact paper down about 2 weeks ago.
You are my savior today...thank you so much for this video!!!
So happy to hear!
Extremely helpful! This is exactly what I need to fix my fav dress!
How's this holding up a few years later?
Love it❤
Thank You Thank You Thank You for making and posting this video! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for on TH-cam! And love all the tips y’all provided as well! 👍🏾😃
You're welcome! So happy for you. It's still holding up great too!
😊That’s great!@@anjanellfashion
Thank you just heard about contact paper for countertops was looking on how to make it last and found this. Thank you again.
Love it Guys, I had done my countertops with expiry , black countertops. Now I’m ready to change it to marble white. Glad that I saw your video. So I dont have to prime, paint and design. I can’t wait. Great job 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video! Can you update on this? Also, is it removable? Thank you!
I would think after the epoxy is poured its permanent.
Im doing this now. Thank you guys!
This is son helpful! Thank you for the detailed walk through. It looks great!
Thank You!
Thank you for just confirming that you can do it!!!! 🎉 every google search I did , no matter how I worded it only thing that would come up was you can epoxy vinyl stickers if mod podge is done prior to pouring! So once again Thank you
I want to know how long it lasted? I know vinyl and epoxy don't like to stick to one another so I'm curious if it started to chip or come up or anything like that?
hey there, its been 2 years since the video and just wondering how its held up? im hoping to coat floor stickers.
Wow, once the glitter was in there, that really made it look like shit
