That has to have been the best race of the year just for how close it was regardless of actually won (but great for Oscar). Lord knows what happened with Carlos and Checo they just drifted into each other like they forgot they were there (and then of course blamed each other as all good drivers do lol). But all in all it was a great race to watch, and great drive through the field from Lando, nice to see McLaren got his strategy correct this time around! I guess for George it is kind of redemption for his lost win earlier this season...plus thinking of safety cars did you see the start line crash in F2??

The big problem McLaren have is the wish to not prioritise...but they don't want to end up with a Hamilton-Rosberg situation where they start being more rivals than teammates. I would love Lando to win the championship but it is such a long shot and I just don't believe that Max is going to start scoring such low points for the rest of the season for that to happen. The team championship is certainly 100% up for McLaren but I don't think the driver's championship is. You also don't want a Vettel-Webber situation where they start ignoring any team orders as well - I think overall Lando has failed the starts for whatever reason (although in Netherlands both he and Oscar didn't do well so maybe something in the car mapping) but the team has totally failed a number of times with strategy as if they were shocked to be in race winning positions and then fumbled.

I've been watching F1 for over 40 years at this point, and have always welcomed anyone who loves the sport. I know in recent years since DTS on Netflix, a lot of 'fans' have spoken out about having all these new fans (and by that they really mean Americans) coming into the sport and asking questions or daring to have an opinion. As a Brit who now lives in the US, even though I've watched F1 for so long myself, it was not until DTS that one of my daughters herself got into F1 and is now an avid fan. There is nothing wrong with loving something even if others might not expect it, and nothing wrong with asking questions and I've been enjoying your videos which are so different from other F1 content I watch and thats what I love about them. So you keep doing what you are doing!

Just leaving you some encouragement. I randomly found your channel and have been watching your videos. I'm very new to F1. I randomly got tickets to a GP last year and thought I'd go as a one-off, but I enjoyed it so much and ended up sticking around. I appreciate hearing your F1 knowledge, but more than that, I love hearing you, a young Black woman, sitting at home kikiing about this sport like we're just amongst friends. It helps make up for the fact that I don't have girlfriends who are interested in talking F1. I know imposter syndrome is the worst, but know that you bring something fun and unique to the F1 content space too!

I don't feel bad for George he tried some funny dirty trick to snatch thst win from Lewis who did everything right from qualifying to leading the race from lap 2 then George decided to pull a fast one well thank God for the universe it corrected that instantly

I'm so shocked by Checo staying in all honesty! RB have been ruthless in the past with dropping drivers down or stopped to support younger drivers so to keep a driver who is constantly inconsistent seems so un-RB it is scary! Part of me thinks that if they drop him and bring in another driver who may be better, could he take the fight to Max which would underline RBs strategy of really only supporting a single driver (Seb and Max have been there #1 and anyone else was just there to support them)...as you basically said! Carlos to Williams will be intriguing as to what he can do in that team and as others have commented, it will be interesting to see if Alex IS as good as people say he is when he has another good driver in the sister car as opposed to Goatifi or LogiBear who have not been at the same caliber.

I think the closest we get to "Brocedes" are people like George/Lando/Max in that they are friends but of course they are not in the same team. As for Oscar and Lando I think it was DC who said on the commentary that you are all friends when a team is being built up, but as soon as you start challenging for the win, your team mate is the first person you want to beat and you are not friends anymore! On a side note...can they stop having Nico as an interviewer he just is no good and has said so many things in the past especially (naturally) about Hamilton especially when working for Sky over 2020/21!
