Hi do you have any car for sale riigt now.?
@@bonilla4889 no
I was in the parking lot waiting for my brother in law when I heard this kit rumble up. The owner was a super cool dude. 😎👍 Ace Hardware, Eagle River WI.
The deer for sure don't seem to be bothered by you and the trike. Cool ride, thanks for sharing!
Interesting project looking forward to your next video
@velomobileconceptuk thanks, I posted one recently, look at my video history.
Why is the shifter so long ? Reminds me of the motorcycles with the handlebars that rider can barely reach . Did Allan build the car ?
Couldn't tell ya, seen the car in a parking lot and recorded it..
so doors open from 0 to 60 must be slowest car ever
Supercar owners must be very patient
Also what happens when the car looses battery..
Side mirrors?
Built into top of front fender above the wheel

How are you not famous
@@The_Big-O_9 lol..
Wow twin turbos and the cantilever rear suspension. It's setup a lot like the Ford GT40 for way less.
What doesn't make any sense is... Any car company could build a small aerodynamic, lightweight, simple 2 seater, sporty commuter car that looks similar to this. With a smaller engine but had a little pep. That could still get great mpgs & be fun to drive. But they don't, if they did, I bet they could sell a ton. If the build was simple to keep costs & price down. The combination of low retail price & great mpgs. Would make it eventually pay for itself. Communist ☭ East Germany 🇩🇪 in the 70s?? Built a small lightweight cool little sportcar that weighed about 1700 lbs called the Melkus RS 1000 ....It's similar to what I had in mind. For cheap, fun, great mpgs, commuter/sportscar. Dunno why I leave you so many comments 🤷♂️
Nice setup with your lights
@earlclinkenbeard7888 thanks, TV led lights powered by a duel USB power pack. Cheap and simple but effective.
I'm amazed by all the deer in your videos.

Do you ever get any Karen's or Kevin's giving you dirty looks & getting butt hurt because you're riding a strange contraption they never seen before & think is illegal?
@michaelbrinks8089 No, people do look. Most ask questions: What is it.. or comments like .. that looks comfortable. I'd much rather ride a recumbent trike than a bicycle.
@@Brian3680 Ya, I wish velomobiles weren't so crazy expensive....I'm sure I've already said this but.....I'd love to have an electric, amphibious velomobile that could be rode directly into & out of water and was like a micro motorhome. Made to where the seat could lay flat & convert into a sleeping pod. With pelteirs & 12V mini fans, that blow cool air on you for air conditioning. Electric heated seat pad for heat. When camping you could park close to campfire & sleep in the inside. The top of the body would be covered with laminated solar cells. You could probably fit about 50watts worth. On the sides of the velomobile body could be 2 aerodynamic removable hard saddlebags. With solar cells also on the lids &, the saddlebags would double as flotation pontoons in the water.. A pull behind aerodynamic single wheel suspension trailer would have a solar cell lid & also float... Inside have an adjustable, removable dash board, that had room for a tablet screen and/phone. So you could watch TV 📺, movies, listen to music 🎶 radio 📻 . Under the seat would be storage for 2 or 300w of lightweight foldup 📂 solar panels. When stuck in direct sunlight ☀ the solar panels could be unfolded & attached to cover the velomobile & act as a shade awning. So you're not baking in summer heat while the ebike battery 🔋 is charging. You also have a long cord, so you could park in the shade & set the panels in the ☀. You could also sleep inside in direct sunlight. Covered by the awning with the peltiers & little fans blowing cold air ob you. Use a 750w mid drive ebike motor kit with large high gear. So you could pedal assist along in high over drive gear at 40-45 mph on the hyw using less power......I know that not very many people are interested in velomobiles but if it could also be used like a pedal kayak (or regular rowing) on water. Plus the micro motorhome, I think alot more people would want one. It'd be obviously more difficult to make an amphibious velomobile though. But the micro motorhome is doable. You'd probably have to use 2 rear wheels. Or 1 tiny rear wheel to make the seat lay flat....If I could make a reclining seat, sleeping pod, electric micro velomobile motorhome. My bucket list would be, live out of it for a couple years. While traveling all over USA site seeing.
Making money AND having fun? What could be better than this
Exactly..
Looks like it has twice the frontal area of regular velomobiles.... You might even be faster with just a front recumbent fairing depending on the end weight of the shell.
@@nonegone7170 since it's going on my recumbent, the shell doesn't need to be strong like a velomobile. My main goal in all weather riding, as far as speed.... you can only go so fast on recumbent trike before it gets sketchy ...
Ik it hurts me too

Street Gangs aren't cute, but your Local Street Gang is the absolute cutest! I ❤ deer, especially their cute fawns. Thanks for sharing your gang!
@User-blu-7999 you're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed them as I do.
Another idea 💡 is homemade kit cars are actually easily to get registered & become street legal.....I know a velomobile like vehicle with a $250 125cc 4sp 4stroke motorcycle engine could cruise at 55-65mph in one with 100+ mpgs
@michaelbrinks8089 ya, that's not my concern, I just want an enclosed body for my recumbent trike. No license is required. Strictly pedal power. But good luck with your build 👍
@@Brian3680 ya, I'd much prefer a no license, registration, insurance vehicle that I can ride but can also go fast by taking advantage of legal loopholes.
I hope it's not as difficult to build as one velomobile owner claims...He tried to build 1 or 2 and said they were nowhere near as light or nice as his factory made one....$18 to $20K is crazy !!! I thought it was more like $10,000 new. I would pay $5,000 on payments if it had storage room behind the seat for a decent amount of groceries. I'd add electric assist so I could cruise at 45-55mph on country roads into town. Then slow down to normal bike speed in town. Even at $5000 if it could replace a car for transportation. It'd easily pay for itself in gasoline savings. I don't understand why they can't reduce production costs by 3d printing & using something besides carbon fiber that's still pretty lightweight & durable.
@michaelbrinks8089 I like your ideas, and that would be up to the trike owner since this is just a 3 piece enclosed body. I personally went down the electric assist rabbit hole. In fact, that's why I bought the 06 catrike speed with a Lunacycle mid drive 48v 750 aph with thumb throttle... that trike is 1 inch off the ground 😳 in using the thumb throttle shifting through the rear gears, I got it up to 53 mph, and then the front wheels did the speed wobble. I found I originally wanted the assist for those need to have moments, but realized I found myself pedaling less. The extra weight & and the sress it added wasn't worth the want. My now recumbent trike has a mountain schlumph drive ... in my opinion, that's what you want. Clik of a button with your heel engagement and another click disengaged... easy, & less weight. Just my thoughts... also, have you ridden a trike at high speed ??? Kinda sketch 🤔... This body is only meant for year-round enclosed protection from the weather. Like a honda Accord, not a corvette
@@Brian3680 add green slime to the inner tubes and it'll act as a tire wheel balancer at high speeds. So if a non balanced wheel/tire is the wobble cause at high speeds. It'll be gone.
Never felt comfortable going over 25mph on my Rambler. I've had the Quattro Velo over 36mph (so far) and was completely comfortable.
My top speed on my catrike speed was 53 mph, which probably could have gone faster, but at 53 mph, the speed wobble was pretty intense 😳. 48v 750amp bafang mid drive electric assist .
Good video you seem to be catching on to the 360 x4. The speed reader must have come in?
@dougsinger8959 yes, thanks
This was a cool video, riding out onto the docks and seeing the deer in the yard.

@@bobmanfre5083 I guess it's an illusion... it's the tiny earth 🌎 in the insta360 x4 edit. 👍
Really enjoyed your ride through the woods and your running commentary. Thanks for letting me ride along vicariously. Have ridden my trike on similar paths, sometimes having to lift it over or roll it under fallen trees, like the one you pulled out of the way. Question: how did you mount the X4 to your trike? Oh I know it was on the end of a stick, a selfie stick, but how was that fastened to the trike? What part of the trike and what kind of clamp?
@neilswheels7791 watch my video after this , I show basic editing on my phone insta360x4 app. & at the end I show all the boxes / accessories I have for the x4. It's called the motorcycle bundle, it has that clamp & yes I attached the 3' stick and cam.
Mounted on the cross tube close to the right wheel.
Hey thanks for the response, and I look forward to seeing your next video - and more to come. I'm thinking of adding an X4 to my trike; it's a pretty impressive bit of technology.
@neilswheels7791 you're welcome. I'm happy with the x4 , hands free, 360° recording.
That is a nice video and good camera action keep up the good work. Thank you
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Great way to start your 50th lap around the sun.
@Bigboy4018 thank you 😊
That camera gives some very interesting/cool effects. Was there much of a learning curve for the editing software? I am FINALLY getting the hang of editing my Go Pro footage with a combination of the Go Pro QUIK app and Microsoft Movie Maker. You were correct, no way for the Quattro Velo would work back there. Not sure I would take my TT Rambler back there either.
@Bigboy4018 the insta360 x4 has its own editing app and computer app. I'm not to tech savvy, but I can navigate it using the phone app. Although after last night video experience.... I'd suggest the computer. Editing the footage is fairly easy. Play, stop, point the view click add (way point) play, stop, move the view add movement, add way point, play etc... because it records 360° the whole time, you get plenty of footage and angles. I really like it. But it's not cheap and the accessories are almost a need. #1 the data quik reader plugs into cam while recording ( it's a must) the motor cycle bundle also a must, 3' selfie stick .... etc... If you're using the phone to edit a 20 min. Video/ 2 hours to export to phone storage and sucked 70% of phone battery ( not too impressed) that's why I think the computer would be better. But yes 8k & 360° video... well worth the learning curve.
@Bigboy4018 I made you a video this morning, showing the basics of the editing app for the insta360 x4.

@earlclinkenbeard7888 people are pretty respectful, I guess it's picking the time of day to ride.. less traffic. I like night ridding.
What roll/tip over???
@SolarizeYourLife couple months ago I took a hard 90° turn onto a sidewalk too fast... my fault, still learning... lol I forgot to lean my body weight to counter the fast turn and rolled the trike onto the left side. I was thrown clear into the grass.. no injuries, just a learning curve to slow down on sharp turns.
Hate these things. Had 3 of them in a group block the whole road.
