When the POKEY sounds kinda like the SID, that's when you know.

I'm a bit twisted with this one. The modulation part sounds powerful, but those SID tunes live on the base-line, which is simply not there. Building a "modulation typical" sound there ist still odd, due to the missing "Polycounter-Bass Workshop" . It is even possible to build vibratos on the Polycounter-basses. A solution could be to create a group of instruments, and so set any recommended instrument for one note. Then use the "group of instruments" for the instrument of the base line".

This sounds great! I love the way you used the Two-Tone filter for the modulation.

Surprisingly in tune for a 6-bit pitch resolution.

Man, are you joking maybe)) You just took the SNES version and a bit rearranged it. At least the drum set samples and main synths from the SNES version and overall interpolated sound character is just a SNES version in the final result. Anyway very nice cover on one of the coolest retro game soundtracks as for me.
