This is the mainsail on the Leopard 48 dropping after sailing. The owner released the halyard completely, but it hung up, causing the brief pause. Freeing it, it fell the rest of the way.

The Doyle Anomaly Headboard system is the only reliable solution to handling large flat-top mainsails on cruising boats.
