I needed a tool after Gatsby folded I found this and WOW Ember is straight forward. And you are using 100% JavaScript, no JSX no made up stuff. This is a great place for a newbie, Devs won't use Ember because it's straight forward. React is a total mess. I think I will stay in Ember

I think Svelte 5 is the first version of Svelte where I can see React devs using it. Svelte 4 syntax was too magical for me but the Runes API gives me the control I need for fine grained reactivity. I think it will be a big hit.

@Hot takes- Prettier recommends using it "on save", if you don't there is almost no benefit. @SSR- I agree with the SSR take, the strong push and promotion for SSR started from deployment platforms who like to charge more for server resources, there is less money for them if we all build SPA's. @BuildTools- I think the reason why nobody copied embers built tool is that it is just not as good as the vanilla way of doing things, you call everything overcomplicated without seeing that Ember itself and its generators are overcomplicated and just not needed, the reason you all love them is you are used to them, maybe take a step back and you will see that ESM is all you need.

I like BEM, yes i hate that is that verbose, but if there's something off to fix i can just copy the name of the class from the browser and find it in the source right away even from production, and that alone makes it really worth it despite all the drawbacks.

graphQL makes front end code so verbose. The only way it's truly useful is to compensate a broken back end / front end teams relation. I've been there dreaming about adding one f-in field in some API instead of having to bundle data into a page builder content or even worse, code. Some companies have no functional management, so half of the data used by front end are literally smuggled into the viewport by back channels. In a way graphQL forces management to give the front end teams some responsibility about data models and access. It still doesn't create things that are not found is DB but at least you don't need to wait for the 6 month delay to complete a simple API refresh task.

Prime argument in regards to porn or regretting choices is valid but one cannot learn the mistake or the action without doing or experiencing. You should not deny choice just because you believe the outcome will be negative, you won’t learn unless you fail. Now porn - does produce unrealistic expectations and creates expectations of performance.. what Prime I believe is trying to be to say on just a human level is that loving someone comes with commitment and exploration as a couple in a relationship.. he’s not against sex but more the idea that sharing that with someone should come with greater meaning, which I agree. Society has evolved over time through multiple over corrections from the right to the left of ideas.. And over time we’ll probably move on to something completely different..

Primeagen strikes me as one of the most singular personalities I've come across in the online tech community. I'm quite a bit older than he is and I'm heartened for the future that there are people like him in this industry, from both professional and personal perspectives.
