I'm glad! The devs have been working hard to prove to anyone who doubted them that Day of Dragons is a genuine game that they're putting their heart and soul into. And there's much, much more to come

@@cfowler7936 Don't worry, many people have already bought the DLC and with DoD being a game that focuses on social gameplay, many of those are more than happy to share the Blitz. The game itself is cheap (with no price changes planned even as the game grows) so these DLCs are a nice additional way to generate income. Those who can afford it, will buy it (and don't have to pay much), those who can't, don't need to. Content creators also regularly give away Blitz DLCs so keep an eye out there!

I tried the roof entry too - getting in is easy enough, not crashing into the floor or wall afterwards is harder 🤣 It's definitely a lot of fun with all the different exits. I've only done it with blitz and SS so far, but Bio is a fun idea too. And I use keyboard + mouse :)

@@SyIvanix Impressive doing it with K&M, I can barely fly anymore with that after using gamepad for so long. I've flown through the rock with most, FS is kinda tough because it's slower turning. Have yet to do all routes with IR. Bio is by far the easiest due to it's agility.

@@geehammer1511 I really only use a controller for games like Hollow Knight and Ori, so for me it would've been much harder the other way around 😅

The blitz is agile, yes! It's faster than a shadow scale though it turns more slowly (which to me does make SS feel a bit more agile). I love how Blitz looks and feels when flying though! Development is slow as there's been some big hurdles to get through and this is their first game (a complex one at that) made by a small team, but slow doesn't mean they're not working hard - they'll get there!

I love how they make each dragon's flight unique! If I recall correctly, blitz is a bit faster (when flying in a straight line) but SS turns quicker, so both have an advantage and disadvantage. Much more interesting than going "they're the same class, both fast dragons, let's just copy paste SS's flight and done".

I was never that interested in it, but fully changed my mind now! Might actually be my favorite for blitz

The test server is still open for today (sunday), so you can (assuming you own the game)! Right click on the game in your library, click properties, go to betas and select the open test branch from the dropdown menu :)

It is indeed! Though it might look slightly different compared to the live game right now - I *think* this was before they changed melanistic to be more black, as there were some complaints about the brown tints.

@@renem.4249 You have to be nested (spawning through spawn menu doesn't work) as any dragon with an iconic skin, then grow to adult without logging off!

@@renem.4249 Haha, I'll agree it's not necessarily exciting. If you can get people to nest you as a bio, it'll be pretty fast though!

It's an unfortunate rumor spread by some upset people & youtubers a long time ago, but no. Since the kickstarter they've been actively working on it, still are working on it and plan to continue working on it for years to come! It's a small team and progress is a bit slow (which upsets people), but if it was a scam, it'd be a horrible one considering all the money they're sinking into development ;p

Most people believe it's inspired by the skrill and, with many DoD fans also being HTTYD fans, it's one of the reasons they love this dragon! 😄

Hehe, it's an ampithere! A type of dragon with no legs and 2 wings - very different from the 'classic' dragon/wyvern indeed. Day of Dragons is including different dragon types, besides the standard four legged dragon and 2 legged wyvern.

it's actually the normal iconic skin - but early after the update, there was a bug that caused the wings to permanently look as if there's bright light shining behind them. Hence the pink membranes!

Good question! Day of Dragons an online open world survival game where you play as a dragon. Currently, there are 5 playable species, but there are many more to come. In a later update, you will also be able to play as an elemental (think big rock golem thingy), sworn enemies of dragons. There's pvp and pve - pvp kind of speaks for itself, there's clans and you fight other players, with more advanced features like clan territory to come in the future. Pve does not have much content currently (you can fight.. small bugs! :D) but will in future updates get more dangerous AI creatures as well as bosses with a loot system. The game also has a complex nesting system which is a big part of the game; you nest with other dragons to improve stats and craft fancy skins for the offspring (the latter coming in a later update), all based on a genetic system. As a result there's a pretty big social aspect. There's too much to explain in one comment! But long story short, they're working on an awesome game. It still has quite a way to go (early access) and it's good to know that the current game likely feels like it lacks content still. They're aiming for quality over speed, so if the current state of the game doesn't appeal to you yet, I definitely recommend checking back every now and then to see where it's at :) You can check out steam and their roadmap on trello to learn more about the game!

@@Legendary_Levite The devs (and community) are very passionate about there NOT being humans in the game! 🤣 Playing as a dragon is what makes it so unique - and you're right, the dragons are gorgeous. While they might not be releasing new dragons every 2 months, a ton of effort goes into the design, model, animations, sounds etc. They feel incredible to play as
